i love that a manipulative person was a main lead and the female lead tried to understand and gave him space and made him understand without triggering him . i also like that they didnt end the drama by normalizing jung's behaviour and made him realize what his mistake was. this drama was very realistic ,every character was very human ,like you really cant hate any character if you think about why they are doing it . they all took shelter from their psychological problems through the way they behave . and the actors played their roles very well

Jung ❤️ Seol It's true that their relationship isn't always exactly normal and good but that's what makes it so realistic and poetic, because the whole point of the drama is to show how (in life) everybody is messed up in their own way and how everybody has flaws, you just need to find someone who will except every part of you, good and bad, the parts they like but also the parts that they don't like. They hated each other in the beginning because they judged the other on only one bad assumption and a misunderstanding, but they both grew to realize that the other is so much more than what lies on the surface. What makes their relationship great is the fact that they worked hard to understand each other, and also came to the point where the one was willing to let the other see their own vulnerabilities. They complimented each other really well. Jung taught Seol a lot about self worth, he also loved her more than he loved anyone else and always put her first (something that her parents never did) and, in his own twisted way, protected her. Seol loved him unconditionally and excepted that he had many sides to him. She easily figured out that he puts up a front and actually saw the real him(or at least a part of the real him). She managed to keep unraveling him until all she saw was the real him (scared, lonely but also a fun, childlike side was revealed). She didn't like that he was manipulative but she didn't pressure him to change, she allowed him space to come to terms with the fact that what he does is wrong. Because of her he started to face the scary truth about himself and in the end of the series he realized just how damaged he was. He wanted to be better, not only for her but for himself too and he knew that he needed space to do that, which is why he needed to let Seol go at that point in time. They inspire each other and both accepts the other wholeheartedly, flaws and all. It's a whole new definition of true love. It isn't a normal romance but's it's perfect in it's own way. ALSO: Seol and In-ho really do love each other and help the other one grow, but the way I see it is that it's a family kind of love. Even tough both of them love their actual siblings, they had to give up a lot because of them. Seol and In-ho understand each other because both of them had felt that kind of responsibility. In-ho develops a crush on Seol which is understandable, but the fact that they overcame the awkwardness proves that what they have is a bond beyond romance.

FINALLY!! You couldn't have said it any better! People always point out and focus on Yoo Jung's flaws but NEVER saw the good in him. He loved Seol so much that it made him see and realize the wrong things he had been doing. Seol's love for Yoo Jung and Yoo Jung's love Seol had both changed them to become better. People who watched the show are not really looking deep enough and had only looked on the surface.

This drama was completely something else ❤️ Yoo Jung isn’t a character that we are used to seeing in k-drama or any other kind of drama indeed. I really adore him with his all flaws and I adore his unique relationship with Seol. They tried hard but they were attracted to each other like opposite sided magnets. It would be the easiest for Seol to choose Baek in ho as he was kind, funny, protective, talkative but she always “ran” to see her sunbae at the end of the day which made my heart flutter every time❤️ I love every single bit of this drama and will never get tired of watching it again and again forever ❤️

@@ElsieRacite I agree. Its such a waste. Hae Jin ssi did all he could to salvage the project- paying the staff out of his pocket so the shooting doesn't suffer, he even extended his contract twice. But sadly things have turned so sour that I don't expect Saja to see the light of day. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. But I'm so disappointed I won't be seeing Chen in action. The doctor character also sounded and looked interesting (his first sporting a stubble). I hope Hae Jin ssi bounces back with an even bigger project this year.

He blames people for everything that happened to him and steals and then runs from people he stole from and when he is about to be caught he leaves and puts the life of the people around him at risk of the gangs! Thankfully the writer didn’t even make seol look at him in romantic way so there is literally no justification to say he is better for her because she just never ever gave him the chance to woo her 😌! Seol was already working for two years when inho finally struggled to get into college, for seol who is projected as being cerebral inho cannot add value to her mature life, except you are telling me he will help her beat up her colleagues at work. I may have liked inho a bit as a character, but the way his fan deeply hated yoojung made me hate him too!!

How did he ruin her relationships with other people, is it by making her know she doesn’t have to withstand people leeching off her, or did he make the stalking guy stalk her? He assumed she liked the guy and told the guy to express how feelings to her, did he tell him to stalk her? ? Did he have control over other people’s behavior? If he was this bad as you have portrayed why would seol still love him, does that make sense to you? He never did wrong to good people, yet people saw him as a bad guy. Even Seol was not that good. Yoojung loved her a lot but she always doubted him. When Inho fought with Young-gon, she kept looking at his fist (as if she was worried).But when Yoojung fought with that pervert, instead of thanking him or worrying about his fists, Seol treated him as if he was a criminal. Seol never minded Inho helping her but whenever Yoojung sunbae did something for her, she was like 'i am always receiving ' and all .Glad she trusted him (eventually).

I don't understand why do people have problem with the ending or with her chosing to be with Jung? Beak In Ho was grumpy and fist bump whose rage always land him in trouble. Firstly he got himself involved with some gangsters and always end up running away while endangering people around him. All he did was followed up Seol when she clearly didn't wanted and it sure is a fact that he later on he intentionally approached her after knowing that Jung was interested in her, he just wanted to annoy Jung which always backfired when Jung warned him through In Ha. The major point of Jung continued to dislike In Ho was all because of In Ha. She was a woman with no self respect who'd go to any extents to have her bag filled with money and that greed of hers was the core point that always made Jung that both these siblings were just gold diggers. If not for In Ho constantly bullying that piano mate of his and his gibberish way of talking weird stuff about Jung behind his back than he wouldn't have lost his hand. Although I do think Jung was really wrong in this matter and that he should have apologize at least in last few episodes. I believe Jung never really hurt someone without any tough reason. He sure did hurt people but only to the point where they can withstand it, also they all deserved it at some points for being a hypocrite. Now coming to Seol, she herself was not perfect either. In anyway she was just like Jung, just that it was never evident that Jung did cared about other's feelings a bit and wouldn't stand it if things are going out of hands. She was at fault when she didn't listen to that Soo Min girl (I don't remember her name clearly). If only she listened to that girl early on than she wouldn't have turned so bad as to trying to degrade Seol in every way possible. There do were times when Seol had a great confrontation with Jung but her confrontation with him on that Brick guy was totally overacted. The only flaw in their relationship was that she only tried to understand him but never felt the need to correct him on his wrong points. I believe the main reason Jung turned out the way he did is all because of his father. If only his father haven't tried to supressed his life and feelings than he wouldn't have turned out such a manipulative bastard. I'm pretty sure his real personality would be just like In Ho. In anyway there was no point of Seol to be with In Ho cause she saw him as nothing but just a friend whereas her relationship with Jung was surely toxic and there were times she could have back out from their relationship but they had beyond the boundary to go back cause she'd already came to accept him the way he is. But I think the ending was great. Jung wouldn't have ever realized how wrong and terrific his actions and schemes could be unless he feel someone close to him get dragged into this. I think he did the right choice by leaving her then so that he could work on himself and come as a better person. I'm glad how that senior too made him realize that not everyone that approach him is bad and that just because no one reacts doesn't mean no one has saw his scheme just like Seol. Jung finally got to work on himself while In Ho finally approached his dreams and In Ha finally dated a man cause of interaction not cause of money. Seol sure lived the same life but she made sure not make the same mistakes as the past to be taken for granted by her colleges. I think she was always better off without both the guys, also if she'd remained with Jung at that time then by now she might have turned someone she wouldn't recognize she was so yeah the separation was needed for both of them. Then again she'd always loved Jung truly so she always waited for his reply which finally came when he came back to Korea.

Such an unique story tho. We don't often see kdramas with a male lead with such a huge fault in character. I'm not saying his sociopathy is a fault, I'm saying due to his lack of emotions, his bad side managed to get the best of him. With a father like his, I would've too. His father is sociopath as well but ended up messing his son's life instead of protecting it. Seol managed to get him out of the trance, his whole 'everybody is bad but me' image fell apart, his world fell apart. It was only natural he took some time off, he even promised he'll be back once he's ready. Tho it was not shown, it was probably a happy ending. It is already a drama that stands out so much why do you guys want EVERYTHING to be present in a drama.

Everyone saying Inho is better choice and Seol will have healthier relationship with him 😬 like lol NO Inho is a good guy but not a better choice for Seol. Jung is perfect for Seol as they complement each other. Inho has a toxic sister who's also leeching off from him, he might br very talented but he doesn't care about his future just like his sister. While Jung helped Seol in many ways not just in academic. Jung wants Seol to have a bright future and if you read the webtoon, Seol is included in Jung's future. Inho helped Seol a lot of times too, but it's nothing to what Jung can do for her. Jung isn't bad, everyone have bad side. Jung never hurt anyone who didn't do anything to him. If you read the webtoon, you'll understand why Jung hurt Inho. Jung's action hurt Seol before out of misunderstanding but he already likes her. And Seol will never like Inho, as she knows Inho and Jung hated each other, Seol is not the type of girl that will date someone her bf hated even if they become exes. Seol only sees him as a friend and Seol loves Jung not because he helped her for a lot of times, but because he understands her better than anyone, she can tell Jung what she can't tell to her friends, even if Jung did wrong to her before, Seol knows that Jung's intentions to her is pure and she still loves him.

I know that a lot of ppl hate this drama and find the end so disappointed but for me this drama is actually so good park hae jin was perfect as a sociopath He is not bad he is just scared of ppl to hurt him and to hurt them 💔 He didn't break up with her cuz he is a selfish instead he thought he is saving her this way I just can't explain all of my thoughts in a single comment But this drama actually a master piece BTW the movie was a real disappointed even I love all the actors in it but there is a huge difference between the characters of park hae jin in the movie and the drama Just don't watch the movie

I like this music video. I watched the movie and the drama, park hae jin was in both. I didn't care for the dramas ending . Movie was darker and is more about Seoul and Jung then it was about Seoul Jung family and friends

@@_may_3 Yeah so it never says it out loud but it reveals it in a subtle way through out the drama. Basically she saw through his mask that he put on for everyone else. That made him annoyed and then everything from there sort of grew from misunderstandings or assumptions. She always assumed he was doing something wrong causing him a lot of trouble because she knew he wasn't as perfect as he makes himself seem.

And Seol hated Jung because she was Jung's target and she cannot tell anyone because no one will believe her. But Jung eventually like her later on

jun it was my first drama.... That i could could control my 2nd lead syndrome... I could feel seol's feelings and sometimes we had the Same thoughts many times... But i liked her more with the first lead... Bcuz h liked her a lot.... And besides he couldnt protect her when she fained when the stalker was hunting her..but. He could protect her by his own way actually the end didnt please me at all..but it gave me hope that maybe they actually be together again i certently want 2nd season... But my opoion is that he matches with the first lead the second was a boy who had a crush the first was a man who loved her....

jun actually i would choose seol to die because this ending sucked... I Cant explain i was WTF? 16 Ep and the end was - Seol Come and eat.... Bip Bip (New Email).... And then a happy memory... That was not a suitable ending
