Carmen C There is a restaurant like this in Insadong in one backstreet. They have big signs on the street. You shouldn't miss it. (At least it was there like 3-4 months ago.)

You guys mentioned a Chinese/Korean restaurant in your bonus video. How about a jjajangmyeon episode? If you do, find a place where you can see and hear them hand make the noodles. It sounds like someone's getting beat up in the back. I found one place in NY that do that so finding one in Seoul shouldn't be a problem. Cheers!!!

Dammit! Now I have to go buy dumplings tomorrow! We don't have the good stuff available here in Sweden, and hardly any Asian restaurants even have dumplings. But I got a bit of a hallelujah moment a few years ago when I found frozen dumplings in the freezer in the supermarket, they're very ginger-y Japanese style but for being frozen and mass produced, they're pretty good and heavenly when you get a real severe dumpling craving! I used to make dumplings myself as well, some years ago when I was together with a guy from China and lived in Copenhagen where I had a "China town" nearby to get the good vinegar and frozen dough if I didn't want to make the dough all from scratch. I did make it from scratch a few times as well but no matter what dough I used it always tasted amazing! Just used pork, green onion, some ginger and garlic for the filling and white wine and soy sauce for seasoning of the filling. Then just boil the dumpling and fry it some afterwards so the bottom got crispy and dip it into dark vinegar and the flavors would just explode in your mouth in a good way lol Somehow I managed to get the taste very authentic to the dumplings I had in China...
