Hey Eat Your Kimchi, some of the soup in plastic bags are intended to be eaten in those bags, after being placed in a bowl. Essentially you open the bag, and hook the plastic around the rim of the bowl (like how you would cover a trashcan with a plastic bag). Then after you're done, you just take the whole plastic and throw it away, for a no-mess cleanup.

I'm half mexican and this reminds me slightly of menudo, which is a soup that has cow stomach in it. It's eaten whenever, not just for hangovers, but I think it would be a good hangover food.

I've only had pig blood, but it's bloody freaking delicious :3 (no pun intended) It is odorless, and the texture is...yeah, blood jello. Very smooth. It's flavorless if you don't put it with something, so basically tastes very similar to boiled tofu.

Probably the best hangover cure is to drink lots of water. Much of the discomfort of a hangover is due to dehydration. I suppose eating a big bowl of soup also rehydrates you, but water does the same thing.

people who have had to live on nothing but ramen for 3 months +? That was me a few years ago.. trust me.. after litterally surviving on it for a long period of time.. If i smell the stuff cooking i start to feel sick.. especially if it is chicken or beef flavor..Dx.. The cheapest way for me to eat was buying Maruchan ramen in BULK and the only ones they would sell in bulk was beef and chicken flavor and it was RARE when they had the beef kind Dx.. boy i hated it.. I cant even get through an entire package of ramen anymore.. especially if it is Maruchan ramen.. i eat like a quarter of it and I end up just tossing the rest.. The only time I can manage to eat ramen now is if it is the Japanese miso flavor ramen from Ichiban and a Korean Kimchi flavor from NONGSHIM SHIN? i think.. and I have to jazz it up and make it all gourmet.. lmao.. and i think the reason is because it tastes a bit different..

I love how you guys are so outgoing and willing to try "exotic" foods that westerners(Mainly talking about stuck up people in the states who refuse to eat fish without it being gutted, headed, skinned and with it's head removed...basically almost everyone -.-) would never even think of going near. It pisses me off how picky and ignorant some people are. I mean sure, you grew up differently but if you don't like something, you don't have to spit it back up and make super rude disgusted faces. Prime example can be some of Buzzfeed's food sampling videos. I just stopped watching those altogether because some of the girl's are annoying overreactive spoiled brats. Sorry, this comment turned into a mini rant. xD

Jenniferr Xiong It really depends on where you live in the US, because most people in the bay area are more open, but yea I do agree a lot of the more sheltered people in America are usually super spoiled brats when it comes to trying new foods.
@AlphonseElric122
@AlphonseElric122 8 жыл бұрын
Depends on where you live really, I live in Japan now but I'm from Texas, and a lot of people I know are perfectly willing to try "exotic" foods. In the US I think people are more close minded to it because they're nowhere near where that food comes from so there's no point in trying it.
@Hiraeth8
@Hiraeth8 7 жыл бұрын
I feel you but I'm thankful that my friends are always willing to try my grandmothers food (I'm Vietnamese and some Vietnamese foods look kinda scary) but they're always try it and if they don't like it they just politely tell me and I eat what they won't eat haha and I think you can dislike foods but do it in a more polite way cause you know some people put their pride and joy into cooking their culture's meals
@katdaddy8393

Agreed with the first reply here. Really depends on where you live in the US. I'm in the midwest and a LOT of ppl here complain that they /hate/ fish. And a majority of them you can tell have only tried fish sticks or never given any fish a try. Actually, I think the most picky ppl are from the midwest, and this includes myself.
@Krysten1785
@Krysten1785 7 жыл бұрын
Jennifer Xiong Personally I dont think its stuck up to not like something. It IS stuck up to think that you're better than someone else because you enjoy exotic foods and they dont . I cant control the fact that the texture of stomach disgusts me. All preferences are subjective. I like the color green. I dont like black. I like water. I dont like pop. I dont like tripe. I dont like shrimp. Who cares? Liking exotic foods doesnt make you more cultured or better than someone else. It just means you have different tastes.

To answer your question Simon and Martina, the blood is mixed with water (if you want it to be smooth and w/o holes, more water and if you want it w/ holes and kinda dry less water) and a little bit of salt. You mix it and then let it sit out for a while w/o touching it at all whatsoever. Then afterwards, it'll condense and then you boil it to cook it. I'm not Korean but Vietnamese people eat it too.

I guess tripe is something you have to grow up with to enjoy? As someone who has grown up eating tripe (my family puts it in menudo), I LOVE IT. Especially in pho. I always order extra tripe in my pho. So delicious. And it reminds me of being at my grandmas eating menudo.

I'm Vietnamese and we eat pork blood in our chao(its a rice porridge). When I was younger I didn't like eating it but now I personally LOVE it. Some Vietnamese restaurants don't have it though because of the smell of the blood isn't exactly pleasant to American noses.
