Carl Friedrich Ern, inventor of the Hexe double wheel grinder. Maybe one of history’s most influential individuals in straight razor manufacture. I’m mostly a modern manufacture guy, but I have a couple of great shaving examples I like. Seems that I see more surviving razors from the Ern brands in the 6/8-7/8 size than from other German makers. Nice honing session.

You inspired me to pull out my jnats this morning, has a new to me razor that needed a facelift. Great video, the ERN is a keeper, nice razor.
