As a former sweets baker in the US, nothing stressed me out more than the decision to change to the imperial system💀💀 I let out an audible whimper lol at least there hasn't been any fractions or up/down scaling recipes haha. None of the 3am "How many 2/3 cups of x ingredient do I need to get 1.5x as much yield from this recipe" that comes with baking with the imperial system irl T_T

I know this is a year old, but that's an unfortunate example, haha. Half of 2/3 cups is 1/3 cups. So it would just be 3/3 (a full cup) to get 1.5x. Though, I do understand the sentiment. It can be confusing sometimes, especially for those accustomed to metric.

Anytime I make homemade pizza, I pick up English muffins and use any leftover sauce, cheese, toppings to make little English muffin pizzas and freeze them. Then some other time or day when I'm too busy or tired or depressed, I have nice homemade mini pizzas. They freeze beautifully and you just heat them up in the oven or toaster oven.

That very well might have been the worst tutorial sequence I've ever witnessed. Kudos to Julia for sticking with the game. Edit: The tutorial didn't even cover everything! It spent more time forcing the player to do wrong things and berating them for it than going over pans/forms. That's some hot garbage and it looks like the game is just straight-up broken. Edit 2: Don't bother buying the game, it's been abandoned by the devs and won't be receiving any more support. They added loads of bugs with an update, dipped out and went "Deal with it" while still selling the game on Steam.

The tutorial was fine, they just didn't bother paying attention to it cause they didn't want to do it. It showed you how to do something wrong and then FIX what you did wrong so that you didn't have to spend a bunch of time throwing away an entire bowl of dough (Like Julia did multiple times). Not sure why people had so many problems with bugs, I played through the whole game and it was fine (except for the driving part, that was boring and I'm glad they patched in a way to circumvent it) Sucks that the devs abandoned it though, could have been way cooler.

@@kwarra-an To elaborate on Lau Ra's explanation, they released a video every day for exactly one year on the channel with the intention made clear that they would delete the channel at the end of that year. The whole point of it being to show that nothing is permanent, and sometimes the only thing you have left of something you loved is the memory. Now, some people *did* record those episodes against their wishes, and you still can find clips compilations, but it really was a "you had to be there" kind of experience.

I was told I had to go to Dick's when I visited Seattle, and it was extremely underwhelming. I was told it'd be amazing, but it's just a very average fast food burger, just slightly better than McDonald's. the only unique thing is sweet pickle relish, which I don't even like. if you ask for onions, they'll give you a thimble-sized plastic cup of cold, mushy, diced onions on the side. solid 5/10. would have it again if I ended up there, but would not make an active effort to seek it out.
