1:20:10 State v. High Noon Heenan Fans of the channel will know this guy well. He once told Judge Simpson that the judge "saved his life". It was a great moment that got Judge Simpson choked up. Heenan has been in and out of this court many times after that though. Tough situation for everyone involved.

If I were the people, I'd verify the information that the defendant said about the extra blanket before throwing out the accusation that it is for the alleged victim. Is it an adult sized blanket or a child sized blanket? It makes sense that if the kid is a bed wetter that they'd want an extra for while the wet one is being washed. Regardless, he did make a bad choice in addressing it to the alleged victim. At the least he could have addressed it to the kids in care of the alleged victim.

21:42 State v. Woodell (idk if that's how it's spelled) Pretty entertaining bond violation. If this guy knew Judge Simpson, he'd know that you're going to get more out of him with honesty and humility. This defendant has neither of those things.

1:09:08 State v. Rogers Interesting kerfuffle here where the defendant is present but their counsel is not. Judge Simpson irons it out. I have a lot of respect for APD Hannah Apple after this. She saw this young lady was coming apart at the seams and took it upon herself to get up there with her. Afterwards, you can see Apple go over to have a chat with the defendant. Nice to see a public defender that takes such pride in her position.
