In this new mini series I am going to be checking out every trailer for the game - Punishing Gray Raven, made by the same company that are making Wuthering Waves - very excited for this series and so far...OOOFT it looks GOOOD!

Didn't expect you to react to PGR stuff but it's a pleasant surprise, this game is criminally underrated. Also the optimization on this game is one of, if not, the best out of every action "mobile" games on similar level that unless your phone is really, like, really really old, you should be able to play it just fine. And I've heard a lot of positive reviews about the optimization on its PC client too.

As someone who is a big fan of Honkai music and started playing Pgr last year , I'd say pge has one of the best electronic ost in game and it just keeps getting better and better as you go on

This was great!!! Hope you keep checking out more of this game! it's similar to Honkai in that it gets better and higher development quality as it goes on with the more recent parts of the game being really incredible. Also it is getting a PC port soon with what should be the final beta test for the PC version coming in a week or so here with the next update.

It was awesome to see your reactions to the characters and gameplay! PGR gameplay can be a little tricky at the start, but it gets pretty addicting when you get into the flow of it. And yes there is character switching! Usually you can swap between three characters for each stage. I love the story too, angsty with some adorable moments. I think it does the “found family” concept pretty well, feels like you’re really looking out for your “team” ^^

PGR now have a lot of cool characters and very cool bosses. But its only in CN version. We will get them after a year. Because Global and CN versions have one year gap. Honkai Impact have only one month gap between CN and Global I think. I'm a Honkai player and sometimes play PGR. I can say PGR have the best combat I have ever seen in a mobile gacha game. 😉❤️

Oh man, I remember my starting days of playing Punishing Gray Raven. My brother dragged me into it and we started at the Fallen Star story release and we had to pick up the pace to even try and take part in the event game modes. Super fun now that I have caught up.

OMG PGR FINALLY Also to clarify, I think the english version only exists for those trailers you saw. It is an official test but they scrapped the idea for now because the game only has chinese and japanese dub.

6:10 the game is actually SUPER well optimised, it runs perfectly smoothly on my Samsung Galaxy S10+(Samsung's flagship phone from 2019) at MAX SETTINGS. So yes, even a 4 year old flagship phone can run this game perfectly fine, it doesn't need to be the latest and greatest samsung or iphone or xiaomi or asus rog phone or whatever brand of phone you use.

There was once a time where i didn't know what was PGR. Cool graphics, nice motion and style. Back then, it was only available on chinese/jpn stores. Meh. Then i listened to Narwhal. Now i'm all about Yowai and Osoi and putting every construct at least SS level 80 full awakened.

26:00 decently, the coatings are actually their primary source of income outside of the gacha. infact their gacha income is mostly from whales, from non-whales(dolphins you can say, aka low spenders) most of their income comes from the coatings(aka skins, aka outfits)

18:48 correction, different versions. so each construct has several versions of them called "Frames", it's kinda like "Battle suits" in Honkai where the character is technically the same but has a different title next to their name and has a different look and different moveset and can have different rarities depending on the frame. so Nanami in that trailer has 2 frames, the default B rarity frame that you're given at the start of the game for her, and then the S frame which is the one with the dress that you see that roller skates

My phone have some years on it now. Most popular gacha these days are literally either isn't supported for my device or make it choke and die trying to play. I can run PGR smooth like butter (not optimal quality of course.) So yeah, you can very easily get into this.

If you're into Post Apocalyptic stuff, yes, this is YOUR game xD Also literally do not worry, the optimization of this game is better than anything you could imagine. No new phone needed, the opposite in fact, I literally bought the cheapest phone available on the market and I can run this game on ULTRA settings and it is buttery smooth. The same goes for the emulator running on my sh*tty PC. It's frankly unbelievable that is is even possible^^ And yes, if you're interested in Wuthering Waves you should definitely start playing PGR to get a feel what you can expect from the gameplay, the story and the OST and let me tell you, it's fucking amazing. But do mind that the story of PGR starts up very slow but picks up pace extremely fast once it gets going, and it's best to get your tissues ready^^

I would love to see part 2 please!! PGR is amazing! Thank you for your reaction! I would love to see you react to some to some of the ost music that PGR is known for too! I just started this game a month earlier and the story is one of the best I've played for gacha games. The story is a bit slow and uninteresting at the start, but it has one of the most addicting story after chapter 10.

It actually runs really well on my 7th gen iPod, just a few crashes if I go crazy with my maneuvers. The combat is completely Different from Honkai impact it's actually better in my opinion. I have so much would to say about this game, it's so well done. similar to how the Valkaries in Honkai impact use different battlesuits the characters in PGR all use different "frames". The english voices aren't actually in the game.

PGR is probably my favorite gacha combat-wise, as well as in terms of monetization/gacha system, story, character-design, and developer communication. I actually chose it over Honkai primarily because of the combat and the non-waifu collector feel. The story got me hooked as well despite thr visual-novel presentation (I prefer Honkai on this one due to more prevalent voice acting and more bigger budget cutscenes).

You'll be surprised how good the optimization in PGR is. Before I upgraded to a new phone my 2019 lowend potato could actually play PGR smoothly most of the time unless it was in Warzone that had lots of enemies.

PGR is probably my favorite gacha game, certainly favorite in the combat aspect. Every character has a well made backstory, and the combat of every character feels unique which is something I love. It’s almost certain that you can find at least one whose combat style you love.
