it's weird how whenever there is red text during acherons conversation, they either reference honkai impact 3rd or forgotten memories. what if the reason the trailblazer and acheron recognize each other in reference to honkai impact 3rd, is because they're somehow seeing the memories of the versions of them from honkai impact 3rd. the trailblazer might be connecting to kiana's or kevin's or the captain's memories, while acheron is connecting to mei's memories. even himeko had a dream about a bunch of girls she seemed to be close with, with means she might be connecting with the memories of the other himeko.

I'm somewhere in the middle of the case where a depressed person openly expresses their emotional suffering, and the case of a depressed person hiding their pain as if nothing's wrong: The "smiling depression". I know all too well the pain of unable to let go of the past. As someone once said: "Physical wounds are far easier to heal than wounds of the "heart"." As such, I can relate to fictional characters who have experienced the grief of the death of loved ones somewhat, and can relate to characters shackled by the memories of their past. As much I talk bad about Sunday for being "dull and boring", I can relate to being shackled by one's memories of their past

@@Trygorn If TB gets the Nihility Path, something extremely tragic must happen to them or those they care about to find no value in anything. It's not as simple for TB to gain new Paths as it is for unlocking new elements for the Traveler in Genshin. TB has to win over an Aeon's favor to gain the new Paths. We've seen this happen with both alternate Paths TB got. He/She won over both the Aeon of Preservation, and Xipe Aeon of Harmony, and both times they gained their respective Paths. And winning over IX's favor, should be impossible. I know Acheron is an Emanator of Nihility, but that even should be impossible. To make an Aeon, which Aeons never stray from their Paths, who finds no value in anything, show value to anyone, should be impossible

I want a Star Rail Kiana, but if we cannot have that, how about a Star Rail Sirin? Someone online long ago made a mock-up of what her pull splash art could look like if Sirin was added to Star Rail. Sirin I care deeply about, enough that I read the Second Eruption manga entirely, and cried after for her, even though I already knew her fate because I played HI3rd before reading the manga. My empathy for Sirin also drove me into reading an HI3rd fanfiction of an AU where Cecilia's motherly kindness actually won-over Sirin and brought her back to the side of good. Cecilia ALMOST succeeded in the canon story of the game, seen in the manga. And the Sirin fanfiction actually made it make sense why the story took a different turn, as in the manga what stopped Cecilia's motherly kindness from winning over Sirin, was Sirin losing sense of Bella's false Herrscher Core. I'm still not done reading that fanfiction, it's extremely long, but, the way it's written, feels like the game's way of telling the story in text in cutscenes.

Those who's played enough of main story Part 1 will notice all these HI3rd references in Star Rail. Unfortunately, the majority of Star Rail's players came from Genshin and refused to play HI3rd, so allot of this game's players will miss the context of these references. "Acheron" losing her sense of taste as a symptom of her future doom, is also a HI3rd reference, where at some point Kiana faces fatal Honkai corruption that would kill her if not resolved. And the symptoms of that was her loss of sense of taste, and being unable to feel physical pain. Similar to Acheron's situation shown in one of her flashbacks

I knew the bgm was from HI3rd when we talked with Acheron, only difference was there was not a flute (whatever its called). Part 1.5 was such a slog to go through, but I did get through it. Part 2 feels like they tried too hard with the "fear brings shadows", and didn't make me feel for any of the characters, unlike main story part 1, which left a lasting trauma on me, even long after I have seen the scenes for the first time. "Final Lesson" for example. Still cannot get over Himeko there. The fact that Star Rail Himeko dreams about her HII3rd counterparts and the girls relevant to the story, still makes me very concerned about Star Rail Himeko. She better stay long on the Astral Express where she's safe. Otherwise, "Final Lesson" could get a return...
