​@@lakia-chan as a graphic designer (also illustrator), and someone who also studying on biology, zoology, I must said that everything natural will look uneven (even human anatomy but that minor details much like how Candace's cons look symmetrical in the first glance but uneven when you realize it) the fact that they can make Constellation like that and choose to make them look uneven like that is that it capture the authetical of nature design, if you make it even, the things would look man-made which will go against the point of Constellation is that it's light from the stars that randomly appear across the universe, not some ceiling light, so it's good to see they actually care about little details like this (if they actually did 💀) hell even Starbucks's logo asymmetrical to make the mermaid more human

Fun fact: the reason the constellation isn't symmetrical is because the constellations are actually 3d, if you turn the character around in the main overview, then switch to the constellation screen you can see a bit of their depth

As a long-term Candace enjoyer, I can positively say she's my favorite hydro unit. She's got some problems, but I've always had fun using her. That said, C6 brings her utility way up a lot, particularly as a bloom enabler. I wish C6 was in her base kit. Maybe I will get a new Candace video up soon to showcase her full power...

Auto attck Candace player here, fun fact her second auto attack the shield bash counts as crush damage! Like a Geo or claymore so you can do damage to those shield or rock without those two by just 2 hits, dash to reset and two hits again!

I feel like using Xiangling is perfectly acceptable here, considering that you're using a comp that's very reminiscent of a Hu Tao Vape comp, but swapping Hu Tao for Candace and Xingqiu for Xiangling.

Candace-xiangling bennet-xinqu is my current vape and reverse vape team, and she certainly adds a good bit too it. Sword nerds hide behind the spartan waifus. Her voice lines are awesome too, "hear my prayer" just sounds so commanding.

So Thoma's pyro application is insufficient to consistently vape attacks due to how often his application procs. Yunjin also does give a decent buff to normal attacks but it isn't as valuable as Bennett's buff due to Candace's normal scalings being relatively high

Nymph is an upgrade compared to HoD only if Bennet uses low base ark weapons (lower than 608). Supposing u use low base ark weapons on Bennet, the DMG boost from Nymph compared to HoD is around 2%-6% depending on ur support and Candace's weapon.

I can see not using xiangling since even in teams where she’s an enabler she becomes the main dps, but Kazuha feels like an unfair restriction. Most dps have access to Kazuha. He’s like snorlax in gen 2 competitive Pokémon, he’s like the most used character, but he’s healthy for the meta because he’s just very versatile and can fit a lot of teams. They’re both like near universal tools that can benefit everybody. However, I get that it was for the sake of having a challenge, and I respect that aspect of it.

They are usage rates, but they fluctuate a bit over the abyss cycle. For different cycles, characters will have different rates. For example, beidou had a low usage rate 3 abysses ago at 0.4% usage rate but now has a usage rate of 12% approximately. However, some characters almost always have a low usage rate, which are the ones I try to highlight in my videos

I run my Candace with Dehya. They work very well together. My Candace is now C6, she has a HoD set, HP build and equipped with Cyno's weapon. Just her and Dehya, they both hit in the 30K-60K range but I can rely on them to melt out about 150K-250K damage in a single rotation. With the right supports they can push this up to around 500K in a single cycle. These figures assume that they crit which fortunately they do most of the time. BTW, if you have Baizhu, he's a good fit in a Dehya-Candace team.

@@ByakuganXEyeX Neither are "terrible", both were greatly misunderstood and hence underrated. With the release of Furina, they have become even better. In fact, Candace is a better hydro applicator than Xingqui and Dehya is almost unkillable. Add Furina into the mix an things get interesting fast. But that's too involved to get into here. As for flex: in general go double hydro / pyro. Or keep a hydro flex and add an anemo swirler. With Furina, use a dendro healer. Also always use Dehya before Candace; the vape damage is insane.

But to give you some idea; just based on Dehya-Candace dynamics I would go Dehya Ex2; Candace E or hold E and that's worth at least 1 50K vape not counting anything else and that's a whole lot more vs multiple targets and then Candace Ult, switch to Dehya and go bunga wunga. Works a charm and then I haven't even factored in other team members. But play around with them together, they're really strong.

Professional art person here, and I agree with you! But to play devil's advocate, the imbalance of constellation heights is somewhat justified by looking at how the line weight for the vertical portion of the constellation isn't perfectly symmetrical on one side as it flips to the other (it leans left on the bottom and leans right on the top. It's only really visible if you look at the entire left shape vs the entire right shape). Stars are also never perfectly symmetrical in the celestial sphere anyways, so moving one slightly down the circle draws attention to it on purpose. However, I still I agree with you from a design perspective because the focal point visually of the constellation is very obviously the arrowhead, so to distract from it with the upper right star would be less effective than just keeping it symmetrical lol. Though maybe as you're activating constellations one by one, each of them could feel more important if the player notices (or at least "feels") the little asymmetries created by having the lines between stars intersecting the shield-shape to make slightly different shapes along the way. Honestly I think that's a valid argument from a gameplay perspective. I'd also add that the different constellations gives the feeling of the shield logo being in perspective without actually rotating the constellations (because obviously stars are so far away that rotating them in space would feel very weird to do, so all designs must be fully 2D). In that sense, since the shield is always only on one side of her and that side happens to be her left, your right, giving the impression of perspective very slightly within an otherwise symmetrical design actually feels pretty effective to me.

Its great the way you make the 36 stars with her workout, but I wouldn't say she is your main DPS, after all, out of the whole team she is who spent the least time on field, the time you spent using Zhongli and Bennett was just so much more and Xiangling basically delt more damage, wanting or not, Candace felt like an extra in the team, maybe if you tried doing normal auto atks instead of charged would have been better, but who knows?

I am happy with my Hyperbloom team (Nahida, Xingqiu, Nilou, and Kuki Shinobu), but haven't settled on what the 2nd team should be for Spiral Abyss. I have upgraded Bennett, Xiangling, and Zhongli so I would only need to spend time building up Candance and I could have 2 teams that together are capable of completing Spiral Abyss Floor 12 with full stars.
