@@me_one66 nah my problem is that, once again the entire luofu cast in just thrown at the window. Jingyuan, as well as yunli and march new skin, etc are useless as always. I thought this quest would have brought back jingliu to solve her writing problems, but nope it was yanqing. Yanqing himself, who is really trying hard to develop himself there, ends up once again with no real conclusion as feixiao turn herself back by her own strength alone, by fighting herself in her mind, making all she said to him before pointless. I mean, it would have been wayy better if yanqing you know actively battles her demon form by himself, even if it would hurt him, and heroicly tries to knock her out of her demon form or call her out of heroic will, with character motivation, but nope. And the rest is exposition...

@@me_one66 I mean, what you said, alongside what I see in the comments summarize the problem with hsr story: almost nobody gives a fuck about the main plot, people just care about the others characters who arent even in the plot nor in the region. People keep talking about tingyun when she is not even in the story, why, because she is a "fake death" character who will get a new form, just like march new skin before for example or firefly/robin, nothing more, they care about countless yapping about a almost non existent character, but the story itself dont give you sufficient writing to care about characters involved in the real plot. Instead those characters are just there to look cool and sell well rather than have a meaningful conclusion their development. No offense or upsetting to you or the writing team, I'm just noticing a fact in their storytelling

Idk how I feel about the whole Tingyun thing, on one hand it's cool but on the other it's also somewhat dumb. I feel like Hoyo is afraid of killing off any character and leaving them dead because of the hate they get which tbh that shouldn't be a thing, however the community just doesn't know when to stay quiet I'm also afraid Signora is gonna come back too in Genshin for absolutely no reason other than that. Like I get it yeah it sucks to have a favorite character die and stay dead but at the same time having character deaths adds twists and turns to the story, ik the same can be said if they were to be resurrected. Look I'm not trying to sound dark but having everyone stay alive and not die is kinda boring to read or watch. I know she still died but hopefully you get what I mean. We dealt with it when Himeko died, although she's back in star rail now, but it seems this new age of hoyoverse game players just can't seem to accept that and idk why. Not everything is one big happy story, sunshine and roses so I don't get why you don't understand that. And yes I believe that's literally the only reason she's back is because the community wouldn't be quiet about it and stop hating Hoyo for thier decision. Not because they're making her a five star, she did not have that big of an impact other than the community hating her death.
