I wish they also added some VFX too. HSR doesn't shy away from cosmic horror. I'd imagine some meta imagery where the visuals ignore the chat on the side and appear all over, even if for just a few seconds. Bugs crawling around on the screen for Tayzzyronth, Nous' wires coming from all sides, numerous eyes randomly appearing for Yaoshi and staring at the player, Xipe's effect we saw during Penacony 2.1, the entire screen going completely black for a bit when IX appears with the chat slowly fading back in as Herta calls out to the TB. I think it'd help them feel even more creepy and otherworldly.

Basically, imagine a person just walking on a street and a building suddenly falls and crushes the person, completely killing them. That’s pretty much what happened to Ena.

For instance, Ena was OBSESSED with order, she was the type that was willing to slaughter thousands for the sake of keeping everything in perfectly straight line. Meanwhile, Xipe was the type that doesn’t care whether everything was in order or not but as long as they were working together peacefully.

@@rhadjboi Fr, sometimes I feel like Akivili was the only eon who genuinely put up with Aha's jokes and maybe even found them funny. The truth is that I felt a bitter feeling when Aha suddenly became discouraged when I was doing the event where we could talk to him, the worst of all was when he said that we were not really Akivili and he simply killed us in the simulated universe, if the aeons had voices I'm sure Aha's tone would go from playful to gloomy without emotion, I think Akivili's death really affected Aha mentally.

What I think the remaining Aeons sounds would be: Nanook: Some sort of eruption, like the real-life recording of Krakatoa. Lan: I guess it would be some sort of sound speeding up and rising in pitch until it completely disappears + an arrow whistling and roaring. Yaoshi: A fleshy pulse, deep, hoarse breathing, and the cracking of vines and branches. Edit: I'm back with more. Idrila: Bells, chimes, a choir, and various animal and human noises on a calm ambience. Akivili: The sound of steam and a grand foghorn sound that moves into the sound of waves, steps, and trains on tracks with a drone that grows as the sound goes on. Terminus: A loud cacophony of noises (in reverse) from the Aeons that raises and lowers in pitch and dissonance, slowly quieting down to a lonely hum.

I find it interesting that IX sounds like a sonar ping. (Spoilers for Penacony below) especially with the accretion disk being depicted as water after Acheron sends Aventurine to the Void, I wonder if Nihility is going to be related to the concept of the ocean in some way?

The ocean symbolism may be related to the fact that penacony is 'sinking' into a deep sea (dreamscape), where all the memoria (and blue hues) are located. Some has theorized that this dreamscape is actually HSR's version of the sea of quanta from hi3, where tiny ideas exist and grow bigger but never truly become whole, which is why in some parts of the dream scape you see holes into what seems like a void

Being someone who's played the two games (Genshin, HSR) it's interesting to see how the gods vary. I do like genshin's, the archons all have varying characteristics that are interesting, but they lean more to a human side, even though they are known to have other nonhuman forms (Ex: Zhongli, Rex Lapis form) But with aeons, it's a different story. The art on them is wicked good, the sound designs encapsulates what it would be like to face them, and also, I like how they notably lean more into a eldrich side of things. Idk, I yap alot about things I like. TL;DR: Genshin's archons are more human, HSR's aeons are more eldrich

MAJOR PENACONY 2.2 FINALE SPOILER AHEAD Since I saw this video a while back I was obsessed with the look and sound of Ena the Order ( 0:57 ). Since it was absorbed by Xipe the Harmony, I hoped it would play a role in the Penacony Quest. When I saw the design of the Sunday Boss (Phase 3) in the leaks it reminded me so much of the porcelain like face of Ena. When Sunday revealed his true path, that of The Order, everything made sense and it was so satisfying to realise!

Edit: me describing what the Aeons sound like for absolutely no reason.
