I think because of optimization problem that Star Rail doesn't need to worry since combat and scope of game really really cheap and small I don't think the game even label as AAA or ambition like when they did Honkai 3rd or Genshin but i 100% agree that models looks damn perfect, it's even top tier among all time compare, the detail of accessory in cloth most individual object instead of texture each hairpieces are distinct from other hair also models looks really sharp and uncompressed

@@MiyaoMeow588 To be fair, I think about 70% of voice actors in Honkai star rail are probably from Genshin as well. And that's a lot of percentages considering that Genshin made over a billion dollar within just a span of 6 months of its release, so they do have the budget to hire more than that. So they do have a budget, but EN dub industry just felt like a clique. Like, Seele had her voice established in Honkai Impact already, the yandere/crazy sounding one, but in Honkai star rail, her English voice literally had venti turning her into like goku or some shit. And another point that I wanted to bring out, the danganronpa series literally reused 13-15 total voice actors for each new 15 "students" introduce in each new series. Just saying.

I hope this game actually has jrpg stuff other than turn based battles, like dungeons, cities to explore, side quests, npcs to talk to who tell you about the world, constant well written story progression, overworld travel, great cut scenes, that can stand with modern jrpgs like final fantasy, tales series, dragon quest, persona, nier etc...

I'm aware that MiHoYo stated that they would like to experiment on Rouge-like dungeons. The issue for Genshin now is that the more hardcore players often run out of things to do after the events has been completed. The Chinese community believes that MiHoYo's experiment on Rougue-like dungeons is to increase optional playtime for hardcore gamers. I'm definitely interested to look at where this game is going. The Chinese community assumed that Star Rail was going to be a small experiment/filler game before MiHoYo's next big game. But It is now revealed that MiHoYo has dedicated a 400 member team for Star Rail, and I got to say, the quality for Close Beta 2 has already exceed some of the finished games out in the market. I'm optimistic that MiHoYo is a company that is willing to experiment with new elements for their games instead of repeating the winning formula again and again. They are also developing Zenless Zone Zero, which is a FPS game. So I'm sure some time in the future, they will experiment with a game that exploits the JRPG elements.
