By that time Gene Kiniski basically owned the territory. So ya,I got to see the magic of All Star up close and personal. Kiniski,Guy Mitchell,Bobby Bass, Iron Mike Sharpe,Gama Singh ,Paddy Ryan, and Goldie Rogers were just a few of the greats of those days...in a very good, under rated and under remembered promotion .

I really liked Roy's interview. It was really nice to hear someone who sounds really down to earth, fun to listen too and sounds really truthful. I really liked it! And I must admit that he made me laugh like crazy when you made me remember that hilarious match for the belt with the Ultimate Warrior. You brought back lots of great memories during a time when I used to love wrestling, and I want to thank you for that! You were in, running around in this business during the very best years of the history of wrestling "by my opinion". The 70s, 80s, and early 90s where the very best years, whether it was A.W.A. International Wrestling, WWF. And it was after that, that I started losing interest when the wrestling gamic started to change a lot (and NOT for the best) During those years, you used to give us fabulous show to remember always "Without killing anyone, nor trying to". It use to be a great show! Today, way way WAY too crazy. They lost the fun side that wrestling used to have. So again, Thank you Roy "HonkyTonk Man" for all those great memories and also for helping to open people's eyes, to all that happened during all those years, and all that was said "in truth or not" You were a fabulous interview. I couldn't of enjoyed myself more. Thanks for everything you gave us. Thanks

Just wanted to say that your interview style is perfect. Too many times the interviewer tries to ingratiate themselves to the wrestlers and in the process of doing so lose focus on the point of an interview. You ask knowledgeable questions and allow the person to actually speak without cutting them off or putting your 2 cents in. I’ve seen quite a few of your shoot interviews and I’m very impressed with your style and your ability to put everyone at ease so they come across as talking to an old friend reminiscing of the good old days. Subscribed, liked and shared and watched the adds (most of them anyway) keep up the great work👍🏾.

Gotta love that he still keeps up with the pompadour. Most wrestlers would had stopped that if that was apart of their character, but not Honky Tonk Man because he is forever HONKY TONK MAN and that's dedication.

I’ve passed this interview up MULTIPLE because growing up they basically treated dude like a jobber but sitting here and listening to his story, I deserve a guitar to the head. Man kept it real and shared insight I would’ve never knew 🤝

WWE Has lost a lot of money not using this guy he is such a talent he should still be with the WWE now working the mic or something they could use people like him to help get things back on track like it use to be if that's Possible I have not watched a full wwe episode in years.

It's unfortunate they are not using him. He is very passionate about the business and would be a great asset to the Performance Center even if they only brought him in occasionally.

don cliffton Agreed.. a tiny bit before ‘my time’ watching.. but I agree he would be awesome as a commentator and some of us 90s viewers may give it a go. I probably haven’t watched a PPV since Shawn Michaels retired... and not TV since...stone cold slowed down..

I just learned about the network. The hell with watching pay-per-views and current wrestling. I made my way to 1986 Prime Time wrestling with Gorilla and the Brain and Saturday Night main events. Had to check to see what this guy was doing. I saw the interview was 3 hours and watched every second. thanks for the upload!!!

April 6, 2019, Brooklyn, New York, Barclays Center ... the rest of your post has no merit, he was a close personal friend of Randy (whom we all know was extremely jealous of Miss E), I think you are mixing his kayfabe advances towards Miss E with the real thing ... Randy was rumored to have the relationship with Stephanie, not HTM When it comes to Sable, I very much doubt it ... and as far as Paige goes, he wasn't even around when she was here
