Honolulu Pickleball's newest 100% Kevlar paddles: the elongated J7K and J7K Pro, both of which are going to be preferred by players who have an aggressive playing style.

I used double black diamond 16mm but I tried j7k pro and made the switch! Power and spin are basically the same but feel and longevity are way better. higher recommend if you need more power from j2k

Great videos always, thanks! Currently have J2K pro. thinking about the J7K pro. the biggest issue i have is that it is difficult to spin the balls bc of the quick pop. will continue to buy from Honolulu. i love the John 3:16 on each paddle, wish is was more noticeable.

How would you compare the J7k Pronto the Viva Pro Gen 2 and Viva Pro Gen 3? I have my sights on the J7k Pro. I currently play with the Viva Gen 2 and love it. I just tried the Viva Gen 3 but seems to have less pop and possibly less controllable than Gen 2.

Seriously thinking about j2k or j7k as a sidegrade to my DbD. Basically i want an elongated (hybrid is ok) with a bit more pop but not overly stiff. With the elongated you do give up sweetspot & hard to pass on the j2k SW to Twistrate ratio. There's also the shogun, huracheX/kev, kinetic and ronbus fx. So many good ones to choose from! J7k pro looks good for singles.

I recommend the J2 and J2Ks to players in my area as their first paddle since it is cost effective and a good platform to get better all around. Just demoed an elongated, I'm not used to the smaller sweet spot, but I enjoyed the power and reach. Was hoping to hear this paddle has a larger sweet spot than most elongated and expected it to be smaller than the j2k because of the shape.

Thank you for the review, very informative. I'm curious for what your thoughts would be for a person going from an Engage Pursuit Pro MX 6.0 or EX 6.0 to one of the J7K or J2K? Would it be tremendously different? I've tried a Franklin Signature and a Diadem 18K but always come back to Engage Pursuit Pro MX 6.0. Thank you.

I think that's an interesting comparison and good question.. yes I think it would be pretty different, honestly.. the Pursuit Pros have a much more plush feel relative to the J7K models, and they have a lot higher dwell time, meaning they hold on to the ball longer. The j7ks are more stiff and they also have good pop, but the pop is more of a quick pop that doesn't dwell for a long time on the face, if that makes sense. I would switch from an Engage to the j7k if you prefer a more stiff feel and less dwell time
