Unlike all previous versions that ran on AOSP (Android open source project) that could run Google apps if installed, the new version is based on OpenHarmony, that means that all apps had to be remade for Huawei that means that you will not be able to get real Gapps ever again. There is no trace of Android on the new version so Huawei could make it's own optimisations and make everything more smooth only for its devices

Samsung S23 also have 50MPx but shots on 12Mpx. Has support for Telephoto lens. Do pixel-binding. Filters. It's a better Swiss knife. From what I understood, 50Mpx could be for huge printing, or if you want much details on a specific view in good daylight conditions. But it takes twice the space and a bit more time to process.

I saw the price, €800, for a "mid-range" with catastrophic software monitoring, and after that, we will find that Apple and Samsung are expensive 🤦🏽‍♂️ €800 is not the price of a mid-range, and at this price, the Oneplus 12, S23 Plus and even last year's Honor Magic 5 Pro are better buys and at less than $400-$500 the Poco F6 exists.
