Hi Lim! I have the 200 Pro for like a week now, and i'm loving it, i didn't regret the extra money for it ( I preordered it in Hungary, they gave the Honor Pad 8 and the 100Watt charger as gifts with the phone. So it was a no-brainer deal for me, as the charger isn't included in the box otherwise. :) ) It has very good cameras, though i mainly toook photos with it, but i will also test it's video capabilities in the near future. Such a great allrounder phone imo, and it doesn't have a tough competition within it's price range atm, they nailed this too. :) Keep up the good work, cheers mate! :)

@@jameskyaw95 Hi mate, well i'm using it with dynamic ( not the high, cuz that would drain the battery way faster) refresh rate 120Hz, also the luminance is on automatic for me. With these it will be okay imo like most phones for a day, but not outstanding. If someone is a heavy/power user, likes gaming a lot, and doing 4K videos ( I'm not this type of person, i'm mostly doing the usual browsing, little gaming sometimes, maybe a bit Netflix and such, and i'm doing mostly photos than videos.) , than it won't last that long. I only have it for like a week now, will check it further in the future. :) Also the fast chargnig helps a lot imo. All in all, it's a great device, i didn't regret it: :)

I’ve sent the question on OS updates to Honor and am waiting for their reply. Meanwhile, normal gestures will work with Nova, so does Magic Portal. Hope that helps.

What would you recommend? I have 4 solid choices: Honor 90 for 230e 14t for 260e (free earbuds included) Honor 200 for 350e Honor 200pro for 430e I dont play games at all. Most of my screen time is youtube, some IG scrolling and decent photo/video. For my "needs" what would you recommend? Also to mention, I own 11t atm and I have a 67w charger.

I bought it with pre order for rm1699, don't quite like the slim design, feels slippery in hands, need the case, magic os not as user friendly as Hyper os, volume can be louder, seems like quite soft in busy ambience. But like the camera, clear and crisp photos, even when taking zoomed in photos. Not sure about the IP rating though?

@@chanweikeong yup. I think overall package the Honor win. But I do think Realme is better in terms of telephoto reach and slightly on software. But Chinese software is still Chinese software. Otherwise, there's only a handful of device that could compete under this price point package wise.

On the surface, as usual Honor phones looks pretty attractive compared to their competitors at the same price point. But just like this review, its all on the surface only. 1) What is the phone made of? No mention of what type of glass. Samsung A55 offering Victus+ and Aluminum Bezel for the same price 2) How many years software update? No mention. Nothing 2a at a lower price point offering 3 years major update and 4 years security update 3) How long does the Silica Carbide 5200mAh last? 4) Yeah it packs a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 but how well does it perform? Does it get throttle to hell after just 5 minutes of gaming due to lack of vapor chamber or graphene cooling pad at this price point?

I have this phone . I have problem with streaming on Twitch over wifi and cellular network ( same ) !!! I was trying CoD Mobile , it was always lagging even on medium settings !!!! My other phone Honor Magic5 Lite showed better performance on some games like CoD , with Snapdragon 695 !!!! It is insane and weird !!! 😱

@@davidc2758 I had the Honor Magic 5 Pro and Google software like KZbin for example isn't baked into the Honor phones UI as well as it is with Samsung or Oneplus so the experience with the Honor isn't great. It didn't have the screen off gestures, the home launcher sucks so I went with oneplus and it's amazing, even the reviewers are saying it's phone of the year.

The side buttons (volume and power buttons) of the Honor 200 are a disappointment cos they resemble the ones on Huawei mate series Even when it's new from the box, these buttons on the Honor 200, already seem quite "sunken in", than more protruding outwards. So, with daily pressing and daily usage of the buttons, they will sink further and further in quicker fashion, and the buttons become "unpressable" anymore over a short period of time. Thus, the longevity of these buttons are in question. My few huawei mate phones, suffer from the same issue. Every now and then, I got to get the buttons repaired/replaced, when they sink in too deep, till they flush with the side surface.

Honor 200 Pro is too expensive with a plastic frame and unknown glass instead of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 at this price. It is definitely better to buy Samsung S23 because it is often on promotions, or 12R - much cheaper.
