Another lazy review from an Apple fan boy. The screen tone can be adjusted. The notch can be hidden. It only takes around 2hrs to charge the phone. There's a dedicated Night Mode in the camera app. It smoothly plays every game I throw at it.

Sed P huawei didn't marketed this phone with fast or quick charging capability but as a user of honor 8x from past 10 days i can easily say that this phone charges a lot quicker then many other phones even some fast charging phones. It's charging timing is extremely fast just like fast charging phone, if it's not ahead then it's not behind either. I mean 3750mah battery charges from 10 percent to 100 percent in 1 hour and 45 minutes and from 0 to 100 in 2 hour max. Then this phone is charging fast that's a good news and i noticed it all by myself. I think the rumors that this phone takes 3+hours to charge from 0 to 100 is a hoax. It's charging time is insanely fast but it has no "fast charging"tag with it.

This is the one of the most lazy reviews of this phone that I've seen, lol. 3hrs to charge? Everywhere else I've looked it's only like 2ish, and with that said, you can get up to 7hrs+ screen on time with one charge. Everywhere else says the viewing angles are great... the phone has night mode for dark pics, and there are several gaming reviews for this phone and all of them say this phone handles games just fine. Of course there are better phones for true gamers but for the casual person who only games at airports or while waiting for shit, this phone will be fine.

4:28 man what the hell are you talking about it takes only 2h and 30 minutes to full charge from 0 to 100% not 3h and 36 minutes. and camera is better in this price range don't forget to mention and this is the best selling phone so for in 2018.

I am using this phone and it can fully charge in max 2 hours to 2 hour 10 mints. And it has the dedicated night mood which can produce some stunning indor shots if used correctly. Even I liked it's indoor performance with night mood more then it's out door performance

Sorry if you are going to review a phone then give us a hands on review and not a load of info I could of got from a Google search. You skimmed over its features, and left out many like... (night mode for nighttime shots, which is excellent. (One handed mode, reducing the screen size to make it easier to use), and the ability to remove the notch for those who do not like it. Ability to add or remove the apps draw, .....also the image stabilization is only bad (and it's not that bad) when in high resolution. A review needs to be balanced and detailed, this felt rushed, slow down.

Great phone. It's fast, battery life is really good and camera is quite good too. Mine only takes 2 hrs to fully charge.

Im from malaysian. For me honor 8x is great mid range phone.. camera is nice, look at night mode its so cool. No lag, i play game smoothly, like aspahlt 9.. design also looks like flagship phone, so beautiful. Compare to vivo v11, honor 8x is much more better. look at the price, Its cheapest 128gb rom phone in my country..

The things about shooting camera in low lights situation using Huawei/Honor are, wait for the words 'sharpening the image....please hold still' to dissapear. If u move when the wording still there, u got blurry results. And yes, not to mention the great Night Mod that this phone have compare to other cheap smartphones.

You reviewers always forget to make a mention of the RAM type(DDR3/4) and the dialer vedio call option presence and sometimes software issues like game crashing. Game crashing and glitches is a major issue of Xiqomi phones, which no reviewer mentions easily. You are mostly egoistic and don't have the courtesy to reply to such questions.

Play has lower quality camera, 16 megapixels at 2.2, 8x has 20 megapixels at 1.8, when second number is lower it means it can let more light in lens, so picture quailty is better.

No but non of these Chinese phones do. I have had 3 Honor phones and got 3g mostly and never had to wait for it to buffer. The speed is fine. I am on wifi mostly but when I go away from wi fi, they are fine. I notice no difference in my phone and my husbands Galaxy note 9.
