Every phone gets laggy after some time Factory reset solves that problem I suggest doing a factory reset every 6months to keep it lag free all the time.

Your Love I prefer the Honor 9 Lite for the reason that Honor 9 Lite's battery, and camera are on par with the Huawei Nova 2i. Also, your preferences are almost the same on both phones. Additionally, Honor 9 Lite is way cheaper than the Nova 2i.
