Does this phone, er, actually make and receive calls? It would be useful to know what call quality is like: volume levels; whether people at the other end can hear you; whether calls get dropped; quality of reception. The phone doesn't even appear to have a SIM card in it. And how reliable is the wifi reception? Whilst it is essential to know about the screen quality, camera, build quality and battery life (which will be less when a SIM is installed), the ability to actually make and receive calls is pretty important too! If these topics aren't recovered then it's not really a review, just an unboxing and/or description of features.

Amazing that this is widely available for £129.99 now. I have just bought a Nokia 5.1 also for £129.99 but it's going back in exchange for this. The Nokia keeps crashing, loosing signal, dropping calls, spontaneously rebooting, terrible device. It feels like a relic from the dark past of early android devices. I have every confidence that this Honor will be wonderful in comparison 😀😀

The only thing wrong with honor is it don't come with spam caller built in, even alcatel uses it. And many other android phones from android 6 and above. That's the one thing I miss. As calls on my Alcatel would come up red saying spam alert

Mk Maddy Well the Honor 7x is more powerfull and a bit more expensive,while the honor 9 lite is a bit cheaper but looks nicer.Also Honor 7x has better specs,but the prossesor is the same.If you want a phone with medium specs but nicer design you should go for the 9 lite. If you want a fast,powerful device with better specs you should go for the 7x.In my opinion honor 7x is a better pick because it will definitly hold up better in future years.

I have just purchased one today I had the huawei p smart I know it’s not much of an upgrade really apart from the front facing camera as it’s dual lens 13megapixel instead of a 8.0 megapixel camera I like the fact that you get a clear back cover as you don’t with the huawei p smart. However no screen protector out of the box I was originally told the p smart was a single sim phone but realised that it’s actually a single sim with micro SD card or a second micro sim

I got the honor 9 lite I had the 7a before I gave that to my Mrs and apart from looks there is no difference. The 7a is slightly bigger and the 9 lite is supposed to be faster with the kirin and 3gb ram but you can't tell. Anyway love honor think I'll get the 8x next. Also the 7a could take two sims and memory card where as the 9 lite only takes 1 and memory card or 2 and no card. But 32gb is enough for me

Just ordered after watching this video from the official store with 95% positive rating on lazada, similar ratings and reviews too on shopee official mall when i checked. I live in region one so it might take a few days to get to me.

Jan anro Madriaga i was really surprised at your comments because it's one month old and i only found about the great price two days ago, so it pretty confirmed for me that this was a standard price and not a short term discount. Next time before you buy a phone do some research, watch KZbin reviews, I'd recommend yugatech as a local KZbin reviewer. Look at the benchmarks, performance test etc on KZbin and then compare the price and specs to that of its competitors and make an informed decision. Don't just go out and buy a phone cos it's new and shiny without look at the reviews and doing research first.

This phone is shit.. It's got good features. But it lags. Freezers and sometimes is unresponsive when scrolling through the Internet.. I wish I saved and got the p20 Pro
