Got mine in the mail yesterday and I’m loving it so far! Love the big screen and button - it won’t turn on by accident at night like my Huawei Band 4 Pro! I just wish it had more watch face options for iOS 🙁 Other than that, it’s so much better than my old watch! 👌

I just got mine April 2023 so I will give a further review for people. It is ok, I paid £40 for the watch which is reasonably steep, but that was without any sales on. I have only had it for one day, but despite a dodgy first start, such as charging and the charger keep falling off, watch faces where if you are lacking vision such as I am then it can be very difficult to see what I brought it for and that is the heart rate. However, I now have a watch face that does what I need it to and I can reasonably see the heart rate, stress etc. I am testing the heart rate against my google pixel 4a phone and at times it is near enough 100% the same, but sometimes it can be 5 clicks out. So 70 but I am 65 or 75 so give that small room for error. If you do not want too much from this, then it is fit for purpose, but if you expect everything then you really need to purchase a high end watch, and even then you might be wasting money as no devices are 100% accurate.

The durability will probably not be an issue other than the scratches based on my experience with the older honor band 4. I've used my honor band 4 for 2 years now and there are quite a few scratches on the display and the battery has degraded a lot, which is expected with every device. I've worn it in hot water showers, dropped it a few times bumped into things and it had held up very well, and apparently the honor band 6 has a better build quality compared to the 4 so I think the only issue will the scratches. Hey, really glad I found an english speaking review that actually speaks of usability a bit, not just the marketing things... I'm waiting for this band mainly for the hardware button. On other bands, whenever wearing a long sleeve, it always tunrs the screen on and manages to pause or stop the excercise, making them practically useless to me. Can this hardware button be used to completely lock the screen during workouts? So that this doesn't happen?

You can disable the toggle in settings for "turn on screen when wrist flipped up" and after that the screen will never turn on unless you press the hardware button

Durability is a major issue, I have been using it for a month and am a bit clumsy with my hands. Hit the wall a couple of times while walking inside my house and it made a dent on my screen, nothing too noticable for someone unsuspecting but still very annoying to look as the wearer. Would recommend to wear it only during workouts or while sleeping.

Great video Erin. Subscribed to your channel because, you have clearity of thought and presentation, by chapter's .. which are great. Honor band 6 isn't available in india. I am little tilted towards buying it after honour band 5. I am bit worried about scratches because they are there in my band 5 and despite honour band 6 claiming gorilla glass, I doubt, it's scratch proof. Except this, it's good upgrade. Good video👍

Can the weather app of the Honor Band 6 show the chance it's going to rain at your location? The Mi Band 5 and 6 do have this feature and it's quite useful when you're hiking. It shows a percentage that indicates the chance that it's going to rain at your location.

Hi! Thanks for this nice video. Can you tell me if it's possible to set the timer while a workout is going on and being recorded? Usually, I choose the "Other" workout mode when exercising, and the timer is needed to set the rest time, e.g., 1 min or 30 secs, between exercises.

Does it tell us how dangerously low our oxygen drops to during the night before? or only current level during the day which is normally in the 90's. In am searching for any fitness/smartwatch that can show historical data from last sleep.

I have the Honor Band 5 and Mi Band 5, both are good but I do much prefer the Honor because the strap is so much better and it's not as bulky feeling. I prefer the Honor Health App too (the maps work for one). BUT one thing I really don't like about the Honor is that at night the screen is still incredibly bright even with auto dim function on so you often blind yourself looking at the time in the middle of the night. Do you know if the Honor Band 6 fixes this issue?
