I'm using it since 5 yrs . It's the best phone . My latest realme 9 with 6gb ram lags while 5 year old honor 8x is working like new. Honor is better than Samsung Xiaomi and other Chinese brands in terms of longetevity. Battery backup also better than Samsung after 5 yrs. But Indians are not buying it for no reason

My younger brother uses the Honor 8x, released in 2018. Till today, it works like brand new. I am very happy with its performance and optimization. specially the Kirin chipset. It works like butter.

Only Antutu score isn't everything. Throttling & overheating are the major point of failed 7gen1. Which lead to battery drain problem. Awful processor, As a honor play user. I won't touch honor 90 with a stick bcz of pathetic shitty 7gen1. It should be on at least 7+gen2 else it's a DeadOnArrival phone.

In my opinion, honor will work on balance phones and their stability as there are less brands in india that are providing stable and balance phones in different budgets like oneplus, samsung and apple. If you look at the other brands, they have some compromises as well as some strengths in their all devices like iqoo vivo motorolla etc. If you are getting good hardware, you will get average camera or ui but the brands I mentioned above are working on optimizing each department of a phone depending upon prices so as we know the huawei and honor followed same strategy in past so if they wanna comeback they can take a good place among those balance and stable smartphone brands.

Well I got it for 31k, after launch day discount including bank offers. I ordered mid night black with a 512gb variant! The only con- Macro camera 2x isn't sharp, Wide camera is below par! Dual speakers would have been great. Pro- Main Camera-real to eye, easy to use pro mode, if you are a camera enthusiast, for the price point, this is the one to pick. I love how wide the selfie camera gets, and works well on skin tone, makes you look natural. To add, low light camera performance is quite impressive! Sleek in design! Now otherwise, I believe this phone will be a game changer and the future of Honor! Fingers crossed.

Honor had very bad after sales service. I had Honor 8pro, it's battery swelled breaking phone into two parts. Even after searching for new battery at Tier 1 service centres, I didn't get it. In the end I had to buy another phone. Honor has serious battery issues.
