This song is very timely for the period we live in. Literally and figuratively, the world is on fire. The mention of God in this country lately has been met with more hate than ever. Lawlessness has become the norm, and morals have gone out the window, even by those who are supposed to be representing Christ to the world. I love these songs that remind us that God is still here and with us through it all. 🙌🏻

Disciple's mission, to introduce the truth of God's love through the sound of incredible hard rock is why they're my favorite band and one of the things God reached me through. I was so resentful of all things Him and pushed Him away constantly and was suicidal and unstable. I resented His reaching out to me. I heard one of your songs, skipped, then heard it again some time later and kept on it bcuz it was familiar and I had a moment of softness. It became my favorite song. I didn't want anything to do with Christ until He reached me exactly where I was at my hardness, consistently, obsessively for 2 years. Now I have a beautiful life with a loving husband who I can rely on with a Godly, stubborn character. God's blessed me with everything I never knew I could have or hope for. God loves you/me more than anything and wants so badly to wrap you in His cloak and protect you with His compassion and unlimited understanding. "I believe in the sun even when I don't see it, I believe in love even when I don't feel it and I believe in God even when He is silent," was written on the wall of a concentration camp and sung about by The Barlow Girls. He believes in you and thinks about you even when you don't feel the same. He just wanted you to know that.

Discovered this particular song about a week ago. It was heavy on my heart! And then tonight, my world caught fire. God was preparing me with a reassurance long before my world caught on fire. This song, and God’s timing of giving it to me, is giving me an ounce of hope that the flames will die out. I have this song on repeat and with every listen through, I am washed away with new emotions and feelings. “For the God that raised the dead to life, is the God who lives inside of me”
