I was stuck between this honor and the OnePlus 12. I went with the OnePlus 12.. i think the honor is a little overpriced this year for what it delivers. The magic 5 pro was a beast for the price

The same, although in my case I am not convinced by the capsule in the middle of the screen, it has what I want, which is a high pwm (although the oneplus does too) I know that the one on the honor is double that of the oneplus, but also from 1000 Hz of pwm is imperceptible to the eye, perhaps the honor is too much and is all marketing.

Yes it is. Dynamic island, front facing dedicated face unlock lk iphone, lens which have bigger apertures and low light sensors, perhaps more advanced UI what with all that hold the pic and share right at the edge of the screen thingy, and a bunch of other stuff lk eco system links with its matepad, tv, and others hw gadgets lk samsung dex and iphone does. In my own experience, HW/ honor phones r also more durable in the long run than Xiao Mi.

180mp usually is max in 1x range. Telephoto usually doesnt go that high of MP. At most maybe lk 16mp, maybe 30+MPs is considered vry high for mobile phone telephotos

Better value for money you mean if you're only looking for the snapdragon and basic features etc. In a few ways honor 6 pro and vivo x100 are the only android phones (dunno abt google) which has front facing dedicated geometric face unlock like iphone. Other androids uses selfie camera which is less secure. Its OS also has a few stuff which other android doesnt have yet even in the latest OS. I think those and the cam lens r trying to justify the price. Plus its nt strange that HW no matter what will cost a little higher even with the same specs considering the scale of its company and heavier promotion and eco system with its other gadgets lk laptop, mate pad, tv and others.

@@eljo8963 - Oh im not talking iphone lol apple could charge 3k$ for next one and would sell millions. Apple is cult-like. But yeah I don't know if i'd pay 600$ just to get my phone scanned, to unlock where fingerprint exists, works in the dark and all, and the idea of my face being scanned at all doesn't sit well with me personally. Camera I'd have to see it tested, though i doubt anything significant would happen, even the big cam champs xiaomi 14 ultra and oppo x7 ultra are slightly better than OP 12 or even just Realme gt5 pro in most cases. They are certainly better, just not 600$+ better lol which is a whole another phone. Buy whoever has the money or see value in that, knock yourself.

If youre buying from an online store usually they help pay for the custom tax so that your phone is given a local IMEI which is valid in your country for you to be able to use. If you're plNning to buy on your own directly from another country then i think you wanna check your customs whether there is any need to unlock the phone SIMs by paying taxes for bringing in imported gadgets, otherwise ur phone cant use SIM card.

Telephoto camera is a downgrade since it's a long range from 3.5x to 2.5x. Digital crop is not it.

No charger is a no no for me. One of the consideration for me to buy honor is because they usually provide us with a charger and now if they're not providing. So the most logical reasoning is to buy a Samsung S24U. Bad move honor!

At least i know that this china rom doesnt come with GMS or easy install lk xiaomi china rom.
