I bought this phone a few days ago and I have to say it is by far the best mobile I have ever owned. I have had various Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi and Oppo mobiles, which in my mind have always outdone the likes of Samsung and Sony, their curved screens, better features and long battery life plus their really good cameras have always been a major factor in owning them. Honor have stood out recently and the Magic6 Pro is by far the best. Whenever I upgrade to a new mobile I always go for better camera features and storage and this phone has it all and much more. The only negative would be as one or two of the comments have stated, a lot of the less well known mobiles do not have good resale value but you will not be selling this phone for some time.

The magic 6 pro perfected the 5 pro's design. And for those Cameras, they are sharp, detailed and colourful. Huge battery at 5600mah, 5000 nits and and impressive 180MP telephoto periscope. I'm blown away and I think I want one now😂

Wouldn't it be better if you compared the images captured via S24 Ultra side by side Honor 6? The title of this video demands that. if those photos were taken without doing any adjustings in any software then the camera module and software seems to be excellent.

I will be requiring a good camera phone mainly for my real estate work. And a phone good for the eyes is also important. Other features are not that important and my budget is bit tight as well. What would be the phone you would recommend for my requirement. Honor 90, Honor Magic 6,Honor 90 Light, Redmi Note 13,S20 Ultra etc? I have been a samsung s9 user for a long time but the price range of S21 & above is bit steep for me and samsung has been good for me.

Please tell me they added the ability to change portrait blur after the shot is taken! That is the only major problem i'm having with my 5pro. I don't take portraits at all, cause if it misses - thats it, its ruined forever. Otherwise, I'm loving it and not regretting switching from Samsung, that portrait is the only real big bummer.

Love your comments have bought the phone it is a beast, being straight and honest honor is getting there the software is not perfect but Android 14 is good am running on Microsoft or Nova Launcher and have bit defender security on all my electronic devices for safety it definitely is up against the top market not fully there but a great option compared to exynos trouble camera is not perfect but good thanks for your help 👍👍👌👌🙏🙏cheers Declan from Galway Ireland

50Mpx 1/1.3" is a smaller sensor than in Magic 5 Pro (50 1/1.13"). The 1.4 aperture does not have a major impact on the background blur in portraits, because the blur is added by software to the extent we set in the camera application.

Vivo is better in terms of tele photo. Their processing and featureset is also superior. Only thing I like with Honor is the builtin LUTs (especially the classic one) in Movie mode. Vivo has nothing that can compete directly with this very good out of the box look. Vivo on the other hand allows importing your own LUT if you want to

The honor has a bigger battery than the S24 Ultra. Were you expecting it to use more battery in 3DMark? You also have to consider it's using a lower resolutuon which is a huge saving in 3D games, so not a big surprise.

If you have a Galaxy Note or something,and you had to get to the edge I could understand. I didn't have too many issues with palm rejection. But everyone's opinions are subjective. Is there any noticeable difference in this phone and Samsung s24u's screen clarity while watching movies and stuff as this phone has a lower resolution. I'd say the biggest difference between those screens is the fact that honor's screen won't give you dry eyes sensation, nor headaches when watching at night, whereas Samsung screen is notorious on that topic (they have "bumped" the pwm to 480hz on s24ultra, every other ultra had 240hz). I will never get another Samsung phone until they fix all the issues (specially with camera focus and shutter speed, and I doubt they will fix this, since it's been the issue since s3).

Why does every reviewer complain about vivid photos? People taking photos with a phone are not pro photographers and they don't edit colors after taking shots, so mostly they like more vivid photos. For example, I have Huawei P30Pro and this phone's vivid mode is not good, darks are too dark... so I end up using standard mode which has more accurate color profile... and that makes me manually edit every important photo. From that perspective I would take Vivid photos (if done right) every day of the week.

Worth noting that the 2,5x zoom here is around 68mm equivalent, because the main camera is 27mm (compared to 23-24 on other phones). So it's just ever so slightly less than the 3x zoom on other phones (77mm on iphone, 75mm on xiaomi for example).

Phone looks great but so many phones competing for my wallet with features I really want. OnePlus have their screen tech that better supports using a touch screen when it's raining (helpful in the UK). Samsung and TCL have displays that work better in natural light with less screen reflections. Google call screening is something I currently get a lot of use out of and don't want to give up.

The back of it looks very 60/70's in it's styling around the camera. Price wise, it's a no. If it was around the Oneplus 12 price then definitely a good buy.
