@@Hhhh22222-w 9400 is not better for performance in games & is hotter than the SD elite long term, some phones had issues, due their form factor or overall poor cooling solution. the 9400 uses more wattage & have less performance though i also agree those are like 2,2-5% performance & 0,1w differences & most games run on their fps cap so having 5% less at 60 fps is basically nothing & may also seen as margin of error overall they are never at their 100% utilization depending on game/scenario currently. therefor its still hotter, less efficient but not by a lot & a good chip contender against the SD.

vivo x200 pro has better cameras than the honor's, specially the ultra zoom one, the only problem is that you can't find it in Europe. To buy it from China or Thailand would be a headache in case of warranty need.

FINALLY! Finally someone, a really good KZbinr, made a real comparison of these two phones. I'm very grateful for it. For 3 weeks now I can't decide which one to get next... Now I know, thanks to this video. I'm going to switch from Honor Magic 5 Pro to Magic 7 Pro! I could even do without the 3D face recognition (which I really like) if the camera had been better on Oppo than on Honor, but Honor clearly takes better pictures. Moreover, the display is slightly better, the sound is light years better, it charges faster and has a longer battery life, and it has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor instead of an optical one. So it's clear who the winner is between the two ✌🏻

Thanks great review, this has made me even more excited to order my Honor Magic 7 Pro now once it's released in the UK. I have an Magic 5 Pro currently so will be nice upgrade. 5 has an amazing screen which is really good for my eyes as I'm sensitive to PWM. Hopefully 6 will be the same or an improvement on this. The 3x and 6x zoom differences really surprised me! Didn’t imagine Honor Magic 7 Pro to beat Oppo’s dedicated 6x telephoto lens. It just shows how far software optimization can go. Makes me wonder if hardware specs alone are still enough to define flagship cameras these days.

F4.3 on a 1/2.51" sensor size...that's the problem. It's an extremly dim lens for such a small sensor. Almost unusable at night. Xiaomi 14 ultra used the same sensor but with F2.5. They knew what they were doing. I think the regular X8 Pro is nor really worth the upgrade over the regular X8.

Great comparison. Honor seems to have improved their camera optimisation quite a lot this year. Particularly liked their portraits and human subject pics. They seemed quite natural although possibly a little too warm. Oppo seemed to whiten and smoothen the skin a bit in the human photography. Oppo is not bad but I think they should have used a better main camera sensor at this price point. It's a bit weaker than the main sensor on the Honor magic 7 pro, Vivo x200 pro, and Xiaomi 15 pro and it was also used on the base Oppo find x7 last year. Still a good sensor but it'll be hard for it to compete with the larger sensors in ultra lowlight. The speakers are particularly good on the Honor magic 7 pro this year. Overall I think the magic 7 pro is a better phone allround. They've made good progress this year

Both phones have great designs, but Honor Magic 7 Pro’s build feels more refined, especially in white. Love how they’ve blended elegance with practicality. I like the portreit photos from the Oppo. It makes the face brighter and smoother. You don't have the edit the photos that much after you take them. I am glad they changed the design for the Honor Magic Pro. I like the design of the Honor Magic 7 Pro, not the design of the Honor Magic 6 Pro.

Gaming on the Honor Magic 7 Pro seems next level! Smooth gameplay, stable 60fps, and quick cooling sound perfect for long Genshin Impact sessions. Oppo overheating so quickly is such a bummer. Might have to consider Honor if gaming is the priority. Wonder how it handles emulators too.
