I actually prefer dimensity it slightly faster but apparently harder to cool as well which you might not notice the extra performance but will notice the hotter phone although more testing is required to tell for certain which one is more efficient in different workloads but apps Will probably be more optimized for SD another thing is the price, SD is so much more expensive, that money paid has to go somewhere

It seems a great value Android phone in the UK as it is significantly cheaper than the S24U at launch and, therefore, the likely S25U launch price. The 16GB/512GB base is £1050. That is £300 less than the S24U, which only had 12GB. You also get a free watch, which you did not get with the S24U, and they offer trade-in bonuses, which are better than Samsung ever offers in the UK. So, value-wise, it easily beats the S25U. Cameras are similar, four, though 6X zoom on OPPO. Five years of OS upgrades will be enough for most. From what I have seen, the Dimensity looks as good as the Snapdragon 8 Elite and has better thermals and battery life. A good choice for 2025 buyers.

For me I will take I've had the oppo find X 5 Pro for a while now and well since it came out and the whole reason I haven't upgraded till like any newer phone is because for me I love the UI on the oppo and like the vivos A lot of the Chinese phones they're really good for multitasking like really really good yeah sure Samsung is a pretty good competitor but even within its own quote unquote ecosystem it's mid and also the front cameras have always been stuck at 1080p 60 FPS now it's finally upgraded to 4K 60fps and it looks great also in terms of price to performance and everything that you get within the box straight away there's no point of buying a Samsung or a Google because outside of that you'd still have to buy a case you still have to buy a plug those things come with the phone at the box and that is why I haven't swapped from a Chinese phone since

Oppo will probably never fix the overexposure, the problem is that they want to bump by 1 ev, every shot that has a face in the frame, so your camera keeps going 1ev up 1 ev down (face detected or face undetected) My Find X6 Pro is this way and they never fixed it, and probably never will.

Honestly, these two products leave me a little doubtful and above all have a soulless design compared to the Find X6 and X7 🤦🏽‍♂️ No more 1" 📸 sensor, optical fingerprint reader very badly positioned when all the competition switched to ultrasonic readers..., unless the Oppo Find X8 Pro costs a lot less than the OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15 / 15 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro (which I highly doubt knowing Oppo), I don't see how it's going to sell better than them 🤷🏽‍♂️ The main targets of this Oppo Find X8 Pro are clearly the iPhone 16 Pro and the upcoming S25 Plus, however, with all due respect to Oppo and with all due respect to some people, Oppo has already lost this fight before it even starts 😮‍💨 On the other hand, every day of the year I prefer this Oppo Find X8 Pro to the Pixel 9 Pro XL 🤧 🚶🏽‍♂️🚶🏽‍♂️🚶🏽‍♂️ Ps: the worse of both products is the standard Find X8, honestly unless it has great promotions and comes with freebies when it comes out, I really don't see how it's going to sell well.
