It's absolutely an amazing piece of kit. Been using it for a month now and been loving it. Wish the screen would be brighter though for bright sunlight outdoor use.

I also have this phone and love it the only thing I'd like for more OEM I think is the right term is Google's screen calling features if they had there own version of this 10/10 right now 8/10

I haven't had the chance to try out a V3 yet, but I ended up selling my Fold 6 and Pixel 9 Pro Fold and kept my V2. It's still the only foldable that doesnt feel like a foldable while closed. Im just waiting for some import sales in Canada to buy a V3 because im still quite happy with the previous model. Keep the videos coming ! I remember watching all your Pixel Fold videos. Good stuff !

Also, I recommend ordering some matte film screen protectors for the cover display. It helps with keeping the phone looking fresh and it's a nice dynamic with the glossy inner screen. Cheers !

Got it 2 weeks ago, it's amazing. As you mentioned it's a joy to open it. Multitasking with flexible windows is great. And the Camera is really, really good. The portrait mode with its filters is unique. After years a wow moment using a smartphone. Maybe you should call it ..smart tablet😅

everybody says samsung win the OS but it seems that nobody ever notice that samsung OS taking up almost 50 - 60gb of storage, while my honor V3 is just taking up 16gb of storage, with only that big Honor OS is already pretty damn goodddd!!!

Great review! I'm seriously considering buying the Honor Magic V3 tomorrow after watching this. I’ve owned several foldables, including the Z Fold 4, Z Fold 5, and most recently, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold for about a month. Unfortunately, my Pixel just stopped working out of nowhere, though Google support was fantastic-they quickly arranged a free repair. Now, I’m debating whether to sell the Pixel and switch to the Honor. However, I'm a bit concerned about its durability compared to Samsung’s devices, which have been incredibly robust. My Z Fold 4 and 5 handled countless drops without any issues. Has anyone had experience with Honor’s customer support or durability? Do you think the Magic V3 can match Samsung’s toughness? @@alessandrocinque5264 have you seen the video where they have the V3 go through the wash...so not just the water but the smashing up against the steel drum. I have ZERO concern with durability on this thing. Nothing but confidence in this phone...you cannot go wrong and thanks for watching!

It is absolutely worth the trade off...Apple will have a fold eventually its just whether you want to wait. I was a huge Apple supporter for years but switched to Android and even tried to go back as I love the Apple Watch Ultra but just couldn't do it 😂

When you shake the phone does the camera make a rattling noise?

It does...the camera had optical image stabilization so it wiggles around to allow for the stability... Great question and thanks for watching!

That is crazy that some would and some wouldn't, it is the side effect of a that tech with 'floating lenses'. Just gave mine a shake and sure enough it rattled.

Hi Oly and other Guys maybe you can help me out. I used the AOD display on the V3 (he is really great!!) but get no message on display when I get mail, whatsapp ect. The Fold 6 shows the little icons on the display. Do I something wrong or is it Honor.

That's a great question and I can't honestly remeber whether I do either...I will keep an eye and get back. Normally in settings under notifications... Preview on Lockscreen
