It's the 100w Honor Wireless charger, got it from Ali Baba, but wouldn't recommend it if you like to use your phone unfolded while on the pc. I'll talk more about it in the FAQ video very soon.

What is the Honor notes app like? I assume it syncs, but no desktop app? Can you test with OneNote for a cross platform app? Good test on the outside screen while off, and like the idea of keeping the same note open... Very smart.

It does sync to Honor Cloud, and I believe there's a way to access them from your browser (not 100% sure though, didn't do enough research since I don't use this app). You can't sync the Honor Notes App with OneNote, so you should use OneNote to create the notes on the phone instead.

Hello. I just bought the V3 with the Magic Pen but i have almost nothing in the flotting menu ...just some notes and setting while you have Ten or twelve things like screenshooting. And for thé double tap i have only "erase" while you could do play/pause on videos.....is there something to do ?

Yea the Chinese ROM has more functions in the floating menu, hopefully they'll bring them to global soon. And for double tapping I'm using an app called button mapper to bind it. Go to my in depth review to see how I set it up.

Depends where you bought it from and the offers they had (it came with the phone for people who pre-ordered it for example). If it didn't come with it then you can get the pen from the Honor store or by ordering it from Aliexpress or averagedadofficial.com

Yes, is coming with the phone in most countries if you buy the international version. I carry mine in my shirt's pocket or in my shoulder bag, but you could probably find some cases on aliexpress that can house the pen (will make the phone thicker though)

Yes the international Honor V2 has less options for the pen but the ones you're missing aren't thaat useful to be honest.

It's splendid, full day of heavy use without thinking about charging. And if I do need to charge then it's 0 to 50 in about 20 mins.

Black is the lightest color at 226g, the other colors are 230g so it's not a noticeable difference at all. Black is also slippery without a case because it has a different material. Just get the color you like.

Sorry if you mentioned it, but can you select any text on the honor as you can with the samsung?? On my Z Fold I can select text from any app by holding the button, even if it's not an editable field. (I don't mean taking a screenshot and then using OCR like Smart Select. I know you can do that in any phone) Also does the pen work as mouse in the browser (i.e. opening hover menus that normally don't work on phones)

Thank you for telling me about the "selecting any text" feature on Samsung, didn't know about it even though I used the S Pen a ton. On the Honor you'd have to take a screenshot (3 finger swipe down or from the pen menu) then select the text from that (you can translate, search, copy, etc.) Yes, the hover feature does work on the Honor. It seems this feature stopped working a while ago on my Fold 4 because I had an accessibility service on, I disabled it and tried multiple browsers and Firefox is the best one for this hover behavior (on both the Magic V3 and the Fold 4). I see a lot of reports on reddit that it's not working except on Firefox.

No, but there's a way to do it using "button mapper", you can make it play/pause music when outside the camera app, and take pictures when inside the camera app. See my 1 week review video, I speak about how you can do this.

The battery life is excellent so far, and if you need to charge up you can get 0 to 50% charge in 20 mins (wireless charging is almost just as fast as wired - 66w wireless vs 50w wireless)

Honestly get the Vivo Global if you don't care about the Pen and want to buy a Fold now + don't mind a bit heavier and thicker phone. It has a bit better cameras and performance than the other foldables and everything should work great due to it being global version. I didn't get it because of the extra weight and size and the lack of the pen.

@@maddada I agree even the Chinese version is alright I don't use android Auto because the latest Mercedes Benz don't let you use it in full screen , the performance looks very steady and higher than other foldable phones, trashed Samsung Z6 easy in benchmarks, Xiaomi mix fold 4 had a terrible result too , the only thing that holds me vs Honor Magic v3 is it has bigger battery 5700mha and extremely fast charge 120watt and zies camera set almost to what I have vivo x 100 pro which is a beast, Honor Magic is just thinner than vivo, I can get Vivo xfold 3 pro under 1900 AUD and Honor is just 2200$ . But still I love Honor just because it's thin

Handwriting to text works great didn't face any issues with it. You can also make it take handwriting from the whole screen (not specifically on the text box)

I don't think there's handwriting in the keyboard, and the default keyboard in the Chinese version is not great (it's called honor ime). I switched to SwiftKey for it's amazing swiping and Ai integration (copilot).

Hey, thanks for the video. Do you find the pen experience as good as the s pen? I use my fold 4 extensively for work and I draw on it everiday. Used to have a Note 10+ before it, so not sure if I'd be downgrading from Samsung s pen and software to Honor!

It's good but the only thing is the tip is not plastic and thin like the one that comes with Samsung, so it's personal preference if you would like it or not. (maybe for precise drawing the Fold's is better since the tip is smaller. But for taking notes they're both good)

I think between this one and the Huawei Tri fold they will defenitly have to to do something. To me it didn't have to be as thin as the V3, only a bit thinner, but it should be the same aspect ratio, not only for better screen space, but better battery, integrated S-Pen and pen support on the outer screen.

@@p800my there's floating window on international and Chinese. The phone shown in the video is Chinese so has more options in the floating menu but most aren't that useful and can be done in other ways on global.
