Still worth it for what I've paid for. Not all flagship phones are able to compress a good battery life, huge capacity of RAM/ROM, IR blaster, good camera with a lot of AI features, NFC, dual sim, water/dust proof, and a lot more as you go thru it's software (got desktop mode, reverse charging, wireless charging, can connect usb3 external hard drive, smart screen gestures, etc.) It's the entire embodiment of SMARTphone. 🥰

Great video! I love this smartphone, in this color along with the finish and shape of the camera module, it reminds me of a black hole because the light creates a kind of circle around the module. If it was intentional, I think it's a beautiful idea because black holes absorb all light, creating a parallel with the performance of night photos and videos, which looks really cool to me.

Nice experience story - I like your video style! fun fact: in Germany the regular Honor Magic 5 is not available. Just the pro version. I ordered it today. So exited. Used the Honor 20 pro from 2019-2021. Then switched to Pixel 6 and now back to Honor. I like the easyness of taking a pohoto with Honor and of course the High-End Specs it has. Unfortunately sicne the split from Huawei the prices skyrocketed (at least in Germany) for Hoinor. In the past Honor waas famlous for big tech on a budget price. Nowadays it is stzill cheaper then Samsung/Apple but not that cheaper as it used to be in the good old days ;-)

I am using the phone and I love it. My gf has a 14 pro max and I would never trade with it. Camera on magic is better, and honestly it feels faster overall and better in the hand. Hapticks are amazing on this phone as well.

I've been using this phone for around 2 months, i can say that based on my 10years of Xiaomi experience, i went from xiaomi mi note2, then to xiaomi mi a1, to xiaomi mi note 10, to mi 11 ultra then to this phone. I can say that, this phone is so well rounded that i cant really nit pick much at this point, ya the stereo speakers is not like Xiaomi 11 ultra's Dolby Atmos, the haptics are not insanely implemented compared to my 11 ultra, but other than that, the only word i have for this phone is amazing. Like seriously, the OS has very very very few bugs, and the camera..... i went to Semporna Sabah a few days ago, i took some insane pictures that i didn't know it was possible on this phone The battery, i used my camera all the time from 9am till 6pm, my battery is still at 30%+, i know it sounds like a lie to anyone here, but for real, whoever is considering a Honor Phone, buy this and you're not gonna regret! u guys can leave comemtns below if u guys wanna know more too~

Lim you are the first who now talking in detail.. No you tuber talk about signal strength wifi strength.. I am using huawei since 2018 n samsung n iPhone simultaneously n believe me huawei was generation ahead than the competition in terms of performance signal strength or any department you talk about.. But really glad somebody is giving the real review... Samsung n iPhone are so poor thr phone stop using internet in weak signal area whereas huawei or honor phone keep working as both are same.. I wanna ask, on the latest Magic UI or even the latest Huawei's HarmonyOS, can we long-press/long-click on any apps icon, then can view options like 'apps information' to do force stop, clear cache etc? Hey Julia, each app provides different shortcuts when long-pressing their respective icons. For example - on camera, it shows different shooting modes, and on Google Maps, it shows work/home/etc. You're not able to force stop/clear cache if that's what you're looking for specifically.

I know what you mean. I was so used to it on my Oppo - very convenient. The Magic 5 Pro doesn't have this feature. You have to go the extra steps to reach the 'app information' section.

This phone is good but it has one HUGE flaw. I returned mine due to this problem. It lags on KZbin. Lots of other users reported the same. Seeking lag scroll lag etc like jumping to a certain point in a video and scrolling through comments.

I'm using it. honor have problem with their OS. despite having strong hardware. The phone have tendency to lag and hang. even their pride camera also sometimes will lag when turn on. user experience was not as good as their Old Honor View20.

Does the always on display drain the Battery a lot? On my P30 Pro I can't make any difference if it's activated or not. On my previous OnePlus 9 Pro it's horrible to stay with an AoD.

It doesn't really make a difference. For me, I have AOD turned on, screen resolution forced to max (not dynamic where it switches), and screen refresh rate also forced to highest. Doesn't take that much screen-on-time away if I'm being honest.

The vivo X90 is more focused as a photography-centric phone with it's collab with ZEISS. However, the Magic5 is stronger in terms of performance (SD8 Gen 2) and has higher resolution sensors all around.

I have been a Huawei fan for a long time, problem is I cant buy phones upfront too expensive and shops in the UK no longer sell Huawei on contract so I bought the honor magic 4 pro great phone, when my contract ends in February I will upgrade to the honor magic 5 pro.
