I recently bought a Honor 200 Pro. And boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised. Mom was supposed to give me her iPhone 16 but i chose the Honor 200 Pro instead. Wish i can have this Magic 7 Pro too.

The Honor Magic 7 Pro cameras will go head to head with the Vivo X200 Pro cameras. The Honor will win for the selfies, the main camera has variable aperture and better ultrawide camera. And the Vivo X200 Pro takes the win for the telephoto camera and video recording.

Consistency is way off between the cameras from what I've seen. Plus it struggles to manage exposure against the sun in some situations apparently. Vivo kills

aside from what you pointed out, real changes are in speakers and fingerprint reader so: better zoom camera, better soc, charge speed improved, speakers louder and crispier, better fingerprint dont tell people Mp7 is almost identical to mp6...

Its all region dependant. In middle east the phone is exactly 1000USD including tax. Has the full 5850mah battery and charger and case included. Gifs include watch 4 pro. Insane deal. Meanwhile OP13 and VIVO X200 pro are unfortunately unsupported.

1:47 i havent heard of phone displays not being able to dial back down to 1hz on low brightness settings before. Mainly because no one pointed that out as either an issue or just the way these displays work. The display should be QHD at the price theyre asking for this device in the EU. Its around 1200 euros from what i can see in Serbia which is definitely in that Ultra ballpark. Strangely enough the telephoto, despite seemingly being the same sensor thats in the Vivo X200 Pro (Isocell HP9), performs worse. Other phones offer better zoom the same price. Phone is priced a tier above of what it actually is.

You list it as having "3x optical zoom" To me that sounds like it has moving internal elements that zoom in and out optically, which doesn't seem to be the case. Same for the X200 Pro specs. "Zoom lens" is synonymous with variable focal length, but you seem to be using it to indicate a field of view compared to the 24mm lens. Doesn't really make sense to use that terminology in my opinion. It confused me, I had to search to find out if these lenses actually had zoom functionality or not.

I chose Honor Magic 7 over Vivo, Xiaomi, etc because it has a less pronounced camera bump. The thinner and smaller camera bump makes it easier to hold when I'm reading or messaging which is what I use the phone for 95% of the time

The global version of Honor MagicOS 9 is downgraded by omitting the AI Yoyo agent and AI Avatar. Both of these are only available in the China's Honor phone. Yet you see it advertised in their promotion video. It also excluded the feature to set the max charging limit. Paying premium price for a flagship phone but getting a deficient software.
