Also grant on the honor for the front camera, theres a button on the screen to make the image wide thanks to that ToF 3D Face Scanner

Id give overall photos to honor, i like the color science and more natural bokeh fall off in portraits. But selfies are a bit better on vivo. Also vivo video performance on front and back is better. Like on several day clips the vivo handled big dynamic range changes better as when he would pan back up towards the sky, more natural transition. Ill probably go honor myself for photos but vivo seems like its bit more well rounded

Yes audio is really a weakness on the vivo. Its the best camera phone but not the best phone in general i would say.

yeah i'd pick the vivo for sure, feel like Honor is too bright and does still have that issue that you need to turn down the brightness of the shot itself to get a nicer result.

man i really loved my honor magic 5 pro the 6 pro's photos was a bit too overprocessed for my taste and the same goes for the 7 pro, glad i went with the x200 pro. I still do prefer honor's magic OS

idk how people are watching this video but in a good screen (MacBook Air) its clear that the vivo DESTROYS the honor in almost every camera in every scenario, specially the telephoto and the main in video. Great video btw, really good photos for comparison

Whatever Vivo has done with their camera HW&SW is nothing short of a miracle. If they manage to transfer x200 pro cameras to a foldable format in 2026-7, I don't need anything more, I'm gladly ditching my S23u then.

They are both really good. I can't pick a winner in photos. In extreme lowlight honor judders more with the main but the front camera video seems better in lowlight on the Honor. Great comparison!

7 pro is better at handling highlights. This is what I don't like about Vivo. A lot of times it clips the highlights. But the over sharpening of the 7 pro is a deal breaker. It's just too much.

Honor tried to copy Vivo's idea of 200MP Periscoped Camera with 1/1.4" sensor size, which clearly didn't work well for Honor :) It means, no one can copycat the Vivo's specs :D And of course, Vivo is doing better at night, which did not surprise me.

you know that Honor 7 pro has the same camera since last year with magic 6 pro even befor Vivo ? plus honor using a different less expensive camera sensor hp3 vivo using hp9 so offcourse will not be better

Dude I'm deciding by Find X8 Pro, Magic7 Pro and X200 Pro, and by what I've researched until now, the Vivo has the best telephoto camera, best main camera, best macro, good video quality with less stabilization than the other two, but not too far ahead. Plus the Vivo has the worst microphones quality and worst speakers of the 3, it also has the worst selfie camera with medium to bad stabilization too. All of them have good display, but Honor has a bit more quality and vivid colors. And Honor has by far the best microphone and speakers quality, probably one of, if not the best speakers in an "camera phone". Oh, and Honor has the silicon-carbon battery, wich loses less efficiency across the years. It's actually the top tier battery quality. Some people don't like the Funtouch OS on Vivo, they say that the Honor software has more features, less pre-installed apps and more fluid interface. If you want a phone that is good in all aspects, Honor is the choice. If you want the best possible pictures quality without worrying about mic and speakers quality, get the Vivo. Also, don't forget that Vivo has only 3 years of Android update and 4 years of security patch, while Honor has 4 of Android and 5 of security. And Oppo is even better with 5y Android and 6y security.

Go with the Vivo X200 Pro. More reliable right now. If you were in China, either option would be good, but right now Vivo is the better bet. I have a Vivo phone that I've been using for over 3 years now. Not faced any issues with it yet.

I won't say the color tone is good on Honor. It's oversaturated, while on the Vivo it looks much more natural and close to reality. The pictures on Honor have oversharpenning too, and capture less details. It's like what Samsung does to their cameras, they saturate too much, so the lay people thinks that the pictures is "good", but it's exactly the contrary. Oversaturated pictures are worser to edit, and looks much more like "edited art" than a picture itself. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the Honor quality is bad. It takes really good and beautiful pictures, but not with correct color tone, sharpenning and details.
