It worked for me too! I had a bit of trouble fitting my SIM card, partly because the new screen has a smaller hole for the SIM, but also because I did not slide the chip down under a tab and onto the small locating pin. Everything works, including sound. Excellent video, thank you!!

Надо быть внимательней на стадии,где надо работать с командной строкой(должны быть пробелы между словами в команде)При копировании из инструкции слова сливаются.Так же пришлось повозиться с прошивкой.Возникли проблемы с запуском программы LGUP на Windows 8.1.Пришлось прошивать из под Windows 7 x64.Программа LGUP не хотела видеть тело.Помогла сторонняя прога UPPERCUT_1.0.0.0.Спасибо Док! Thanks so much for this video, you saved my phone! If anyone is wondering about the melt temperature, I actually just pried it off very carefully at room temperature and it was fine. The heat would have made it easier but the glue is not super strong.

Thanks very useful. Just 2 things to point out: 1. You don't need to remove the ear speakers and 2. Check if there is insulating tape at the back of the LCD film where the transistors are as these can short with the case and cause your phone to not turn on. I used a double sided adhesive tape as a solution.

On minute 12:32 the person who is making the replacement is holding in his left hand a kind of black&blue plastic that he sticks to the frame of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. Then he removes the blue part and the black part remains in the frame so that he can directly put the new LCD screen on it. I assume the black part is a kind of glue to attach the LCD to the frame. If I buy this LCD replacement from your website, is the black&blue glue also included? And if not, could you say me where to buy or if there is another way to attach the LCD to the frame? Hi, I just one thing, do not remove the ear speaker, it's not necessary. I tried to remove the ear speaker and it was glued, result: I damage the ear speaker, no have to buy one. :(

is it possible to check the new screen by just opening the frame n removing the lcd + touch screen port and connecting with the new screen, lcd + touch screen. because 2 services in my area did that and when they connect the new screen to the touchscreen port it only shows boot screen. but when they connect the new screen to the lcd port it works. they say the touchscreen is broken. is that true, if yes why u didn't do that, since you just have to open the frame. Sorry my english

I'd just like to confirm, this is for the "Kenzo" version of the phone yes? The different size one is only sold in china? I'm in the UK and though using a ruler found my phone to be 150mm long I'm not sure. It's the Snapdragon 650 version (Full HD screen, Adreno 510 GPU)

Not working for Xcover 4 (2019). When restarting phone it will install updates and ask for former login information for google account conntected with the phone. Probably to do with the fact that my phone not only has frp lock from google on but also OEM lock from Samsung.
