Hey I'm at the moment replacing my screen, while I had no problem with the speaker there is something missing in your video : How did you transfert the side button pads to the new screen? In your video it just appears from 21:02 to 21:06. Someone could explain how they did it? I really have no clue since that black pad tape wasn't included with my new screen. EDIT: Well actually I did it. Just need to pull out the black tape gently until it comes off and then stick it to the new screen with tape or special glue (personally I used the old double face tape removed from under the battery. Good Luck everyone now I have my phone back anew !! (took me 2h30)

Nice video. Please tell what is the adhesive thing that you applied to stick the battery to the phone's back. It didn't look like a double sided tape

Thanks. I used TESA double sided tape, I used that one because is very strong and makes the battery stay in place.

Information: there is no button removal / insertion. Remove the button ribon with a blade from the last (bottom button). Then insert without metal tape just against the plasdtic surrouding the TFT and it works. Why is this step missing? :) The vibrator has to be glued again. And the speaker has to be removed carefully.

yes, you just have to remove the front reuse some parts in the new screen and put it back on. no heating needed!

You missed how to remove the speaker. Mine's stuck and now I've pulled a wire out on the windings.

It's not fair to miss out a step. The solution is to buy another on eBay as it's impossible to remove without breaking unless you heat it up to release the glue beneath. It's three quid online so no big deal.

I've do the same thing, almost forget to move speaker to new body and during removal I've broke it as the author missed the essential step, how to safely remove the speaker :(

Lubos Kejmar it's held in with sticky tape, strong sticky tape. It's not designed to come out, so simply replace with a new one. Dirt cheap, and has the tape ready to peel back and just push in place.

I broke the speaker, I bet he destroyed the speaker as well. Its is easy to change speaker if you know not to tear it apart. Your advice is just buy a new one? omg.

...just amazing, I've dissambled the whole thing and when it comes to "remove the vibrator from the old one and put it in the new one" its just...WTF!??!?! now I have this all opened and can't finish the job. Nice one, buddy, thank god this is a cheap phone but anyway...shitty video, dude...

I actually solved it in case you need help. You can simply detach the vibrator applying some presure to it. Its glued but not very tightly, so once you detach it from the old screen just place it in the new one (surprisingly there's no connection needed with the motherboard or any other component). I used a small quantity of plastic glue (silicon based) and it just works fine on my new screen. I thought it wasn't going to work on the new one but it does!

ACtually there's another piece that i think its missing from the video. The new screen that i bought didn't have the connector for the start/switch off button and the volume ones. You have to dettach that piece from the old one and putting it on the new one
