The day it happened was horrible to me. For the sake of moving on i had to simply take the channels off my subscriber list because it was horrible to think of two such sweet people just being taken in such a way. One because of the other too. I never knew them personally and i hadn't interacted with thim particulary. But even still some people who where always comforting and nice just ended up gone so tragically. Truely one of the most insidious parts with suicide is that people who have lost someone to it are more likely to also do it.

After hearing about RaliDali and Snowball, I was changed in a major way and had to take a few weeks to process how I was feeling. The furry fandom is supposed to be a comfort place and an escape from reality, but harsh realities snap us back and it hurts. Since then I realized how many people suffer from depression in the fandom, so I took my and my friend's mental health more seriously and built a stronger connection to the furry fandom because the fandom was always there to love and support me in my darkest times.

For me, the one that affected me the most was TyphonFox, he was a UK furry who I first met at the Birmingham Furmeets back in 2012 had been my best friend ever since. We used to take roadtrips to furmeets, hang out and have room parties at ConFuzzled, JFTW, Scotiacon, NFC. Even outside of furry events we used to hang out every fortnight for drinks back when I lived near the midlands, watched films, spent halloween/new years together with friends. When his cancer returned and was determined to be inoperable, I sent him a message showing my support and had hoped I could see him one last time, but then I got the news one week later. Still miss him, even after his funeral, seeing the tribute video at Scotiacon, and seeing his partner wear his Holden fursuit from time to time. Guess it didn't help that he was at least a year younger than me, made his condition all so sudden.

In my 11 years of being active in the fandom the that really effected me the most was pink lemonade as he was the very first picture of a fursuiter I had in my first fursuiter gallery on my first iPad which was stolen not long after his passing and i remember going to tff 2013 and he face was everywhere as it took place after his death

Last year at MFF on the sunday of closing, i walked past Mark and Rod leaving the hotel, carrying their luggage out to their car, I didnt realize it was them until they already walked past me. When i heard about Marks passing, i thought heavily on that and how my own anxiety held me back from my one opportunity to tell the fathers of the furry fandom how much they have changed my life...

A suggestion for some that go through mental health stuff definitely I urge to try: seeking “out patient therapy” it can help getting perspective of others in learning methods to help you cope with things. I’m party of furry discord and VRChat group called OttFox that has touched my very being. We are a beautiful community that functions as a dysfunctional family. We may argue and fight at times but we come back together to be friends and more at the end of the day. Everyday I get to be part of a furry community that means so much to all of us. The fandom has touched the lives of people all over the world. Furries keep the internet going, produce beautiful art and music, make unique and captivating fursuits and non of what we see before us… The cons… The friends… The community… The art… And the fandom itself…the idea of it. The spirit of it… Would not exist without those that came before. Who guided us to today. Who laid the foundations from which we would build what we have as a community. Mark, Rodney, Uncle Kage, and more have brought us to this time and place and blessed our lives. If only I could do more to thank them, but those that are gone like mark, are gone but will never be forgotten. During this time I want to raise a toast to them and wherever they are, may they know peace, love, and happiness forever.

I'd like to add 2 Awesome people who many may not know, but both were quite known a lot of people. First one is GizGiz the Shepherd, who had Depressions for a longer Peried of Time. Many suicide attempts who got all prevented, but sadly on august 20 2011 He succeeded in his Attempt, driving into oncoming traffic and hitting a truck. Thankfully he didn't pull anyone with him. He was an awesome Guy tho. The second one is Lillian/Oryn/Ina Winters the Wolfbear. He had been full of life and many plans. But in november 2022, after dealing with severe stomach pains, went to the doctors and found out to have Cancer. He instantly started Chemo, but only remained part of this world for 3 more months, before leaving on February 12 2023 at the age of 32. His death Shook me hard, because I knew him for 12 years, he basically was the same age as me and it happened so Suddenly... Life is mean sometimes.... but we got to keep your heads up and move forward. Keep our loved ones in our heart!

I'd say I got through about 25% of that entire scroll but I had started tearing up and that doesn't bode well for a VR headset >

There's a fur I knew Cw:// inflation and fatfur mentions He was called Creature_Unknown. Known by his ocs Tyler The RedPanderg and Jacob the Chespin but preferred to be called Jacob. He went through alot in his life but he formed this community creating amazing art and even games like one he was creating a 3d platformer and "Smasher Will O the Thiccs" it was a fat fur game but it was petty fun and alot of people today still create custom sprites for their characters. While we weren't close I knew him for about 5 years and only recently commissioned him twice one of these times he felt like he messed up so badly he apologized for giving me "inferior art". I felt so much for him and the art he did wasn't so bad. He was a go to guy for weird ideas as well...he sadly passed away just last year and I've only realized now my characters has a bit of inspiration from him. So to pay tribute i added horns to my characters in a way of rememberence so wherever my characters go he's with them.
