The trick is to only hunt starting at 5:00. After 7.30 you cannot see the tracks well. ;-)

Fun fact this is a gun that the us made but the Russians used a large caliber model in ww1

the gun is the winchester 1895. Very nice weapon, however the 405 isn't as powerful as the 340.

Russians used the 7.62x54R in the M95 during ww1 for their cavalry troops. .340 Wby is the .375 HH necked down to .338 caliber,maybe their best balanced cartridge of them all. Hope hey add .460 Wby one day in the game.

How do you use third person mode like in the beginning of your videos?

If you have a membership, you can press F2 near a lodge or tent to enter the 3rd person view. You can also take a picture in that mode to change your avatar.

Too bad it's a lever action. I'd like to see a nce large caliber bolt action rifle to use on the water buffalo. A 404 Jeffery, 500 Jeffery, 505 Gibbs, or even the .375 H&H magnum.

Jbay2608 Its extremely strong for being lever action. I oneshot a water buffalo at 150m with it, no problem.

It's not the largest caliber weapon in the game, the 45-70 and 50 muzzleloaders are.

that is true. But the 405 is more powerful than the both of those. The 45-70 and the .50 muzzleloaders have bigger diameter bullets, but do not have as much velocity and ft lbs of energy as the 405

i know that, but it still is not the largest caliber in the game. if it was based off of power the 340 would take that spot. however it is only .338 in diameter, so it isn't the largest caliber in game.

i'm talking rifles as they are consistent in diameter, shotguns, more often than not, shoot pellets which vary in diameter greatly. You don't have to be a know it all better than everyone else. You also most certainly don't have to call people idiots for debating about kinetic energy and rifle diameters.
