Great seeing my home town as the first rebuild. 200 million in season one is absolutely crazy! A mate of mine supports Arsenal so it's nice to see them go down as well.

I like the symmetry in the Champions League group of Inter Milan, Barcelona and Leverkusen as Newcastle got that on their last Champions League appearance in the early 2000s

it's amazing, as a Newcastle fan watching these FM saves around my club, seeing the disrespect given to the mighty Joelinton just one season ago; of course, just one season ago he was a misfiring £40 million pound striker who couldn't score in a team playing Bruceball, so I understand it. I think back in October most of us would have sent him out on a free just to get him off the wage bill, and now he's one of the first names on the team sheet. Howe-ay the lads.

Ffp an issue for anyone? I’ve still got 87m to spend first season and failing European ffp massively. I’m assuming if I make it to Europe I won’t be allowed to take part next season. Board already injected a little bit but still over. Just can’t shift anyone for value.

I am sorry to go off topic, been searching for an answer to my problem with no luck whatsoever. I want to start with a Vanarama National side, I just want one which isn´t restricted stadium wise. I hate to take a small team to the top only to see the stadium hindering my progress. I cheated in my last save in FM 21 with Gateshead, paid 100 million for a new 45k sitter using the editor ... but that´s really not optimal.

I’d imagine someone like Wrexham would be the route. The new owners, the stadium size already, could be a good story

I think it’s kind of boring to just plug in OP tactics and cruise to success. With a Newcastle rebuild you should be qualifying for the CL in 5 years, not winning it

@@HoodGamingUK If it were me I’d probably create my own tactic or use the preset tactics. Just to make the results a little more realistic and less OP, I don’t think Newcastle should be able to break into the top 4 immediately

@@HoodGamingUK Yeah I think his potential range now is from between 160-190 because he's 186 in my save. He was unhappy in my save but never pushed for a transfre request and I had to convince the board to sanction paying over 110 mil for him but well worth it
