Yes! That's how the old lady who taught me told me to do it. Less is better! I was smoking up the place putting a bunch of crap on candles and even oiling the wick. 🤣 She even taught me I didn't need the herbs and all unless I wanted to. I could just trim the wick, dress it with oil, and go. So, that's what I usually do now.

It would be difficult because the ancestors are African slaves brought to the U.S. they are a big part of hoodoo and they come to the aid of their descendants. Without them then it wouldn't be hoodoo. White people won't be able to work with them so it would be a problem.
