wait i love the part where you're talking about how many of our practices overlap. YES! it brings me so much comfort to know that practicing gratitude/or prayer... spending time in nature... and treating your body like a temple are all paralleled in other cultures and religions! thats just what comes to my mind but theres sooo many more ways they're all similar. we are always more alike than we are different 🩷

Exactly!!!! It’s only when we try to box things in and confine/control where all the bs comes in.

7:28 interesting fact, water is extremely important in our spiritual practices, we ourselves are mostly made of water, and water is the home of spirits called Naga, beings associated with snakes

It is an interesting take on the view of church life. I myself have no connection other than the relatives whom still attend. Mom doesn't go but does pray for her kids everyday. I feel comfortable not going into churches but giving folks their space to find worship and spirituality.

I believe that this is the best thing that you can do. The freedom to choose your path to spirituality is what makes the journey worth wild. Also koodos to you for being so open. 🫶🏾

5:34 Bible contains detailed writings regarding votive offerings from people, animals, houses and land intended for the priestly caste, and a personal price list of human souls. For a normal offering to God, the word 'zebach' is usually used. However, cherem always means extermination, murder and slaughter Of course, translators use various pious tricks here and instead of "murder", they write about "God's judgment", "holy destruction" or "curse". And although in some places it is written directly about complete sacrificial destruction, many translations use the words "submit to divine judgment." Of course, such expressions introduce some misinformation.

“You will not keep any living creature alive. Instead, you will slaughter [slaughter, sacrifice] all the Hyttites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hywyths and Jebusites - as YHWH Elohim has commanded you.... Deuteronomy 20.16-17″ This text caught my attention not because the Polish translations obviously mention "imposing a curse", but because of the translation of Jehovah's Witnesses, where, surprisingly, it was even closest to the truth: "you must unconditionally designate them to destruction."

even Jesus did not want to die and asked for life in the olive garden but god decided to kill him, Jesus did not come to die for our "sins", he was killed by god, it was god's will to kill Jesus church tells us that Jesus came to die for us, which is a lie Luke 22:42 Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me! ( I don't want die) However, not my will, but Yours be done! (but if YOU want to kill me, do what YOU want)

@@houseofazarh your a lost soul. Hoodoo in the church is well known to be wrong. It talks about speaking in tongues in the bible. If you go to the original text. Christianity has always been in Africa but it was never called Christianity in the first place. You're so wrong on many levels and misguiding people is sad and your lost soul

I wonder if you've ever touched on this topic (if not, I'd love to watch the video) the powerlessness of gods or their indifference to our suffering. A good example is La Santa Muerte, her followers claim that this deity is extremely effective, does not judge anyone and fulfills prayers instantly :) but just look at the people of Mexico, they live in terrible poverty, poverty and corruption is destroying this country and people some of these people are gangsters, they fight each other, gang against gang when I ask LSM followers why their deity allows all this, they are unable to answer me no one can answer this question why gods they pray to are unable to do anything about the suffering in the world what's more, those who live well and are rich they are usually evil people who take advantage of ordinary people as if gods only grant requests of evil people,so maybe gods are evil? The same applies to, for example, Tibetans, Europeans in the Middle Ages and the Crusades, Africa and slavery, America and indigenous people, conquistadores, etc. evil people gain power and wealth, and good people pray and remain poor and weak, without the protection of the gods :( How is this possible? Why?
