this is the video i keep coming back to. it’s electric. the beginning has this smooth, velvety rhythm and then the collision of instruments and tonal dissonance at 1:58 interspersed with the visuals of this show...it’s art. I’m also obsessed with the thumbnail and the text and the effects you use on the text at the beginning. it’s those added details that show how committed you are to this video as a personal creation and not merely an ode to the show. you have and continue to have one of the most breathtaking voices in editing and I’m forever blown away by you.

Im completely blown away by this. It's so completely unique. It has its own distinctive tone which (I think) has never been applied to this fandom before. Groundbreaking, honestly. I love that you're always trying new stuff, experimenting a lot and overall being so original and art driven. It's almost as if you narrate the content in your videos first and foremost through style, which is something thats so hard to achieve of course but you make it look so effortless, wow. The piano break at 1.58? Honestly!!!! And you didnt use a lot of voiceovers, which is good because the visuals are truly all we need here. Wonderful job.

omg, how do i even reply to this? this comment is an absolute gift. i'm always worried about taking risks but i try my best to. your note on style, in particular, means so much to hear because meeting the demands of the song, in terms of tone and visual aesthetic, is really important to me. it's very gratifying to read all this. i actually was trying to incorporate more voice overs, originally, because i always worry that a lack of them will detract from the video somehow but in the end i scrapped them because, well it's exactly as you've said, i think focusing on visuals was enough for this video. it always depends on the music choice for me but this song, in particular, i just feel would be tainted by too many voice overs. thank you so much again for this unbelievable comment.

Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, never done before.... But really, never ever done before. This is one of the most original Hannibal pieces I've come across. You built an unique atmosphere that has never been applied to this show before with scenes and parallels that had spectacular flow with your song choice. I honestly don't think this could've been any better or that anyone else could've pulled this off as well as you did, and if anything, you are proof that vidding can be an art. I loved that part from 0:46 to 0:49, it gave me chills because the scenes you chose fit so well with the audio. That bit from 1:15 to 1:24 was incredible as well, it felt so natural and effortless I can only describe it as the act of breathing. Then, of course, at 1:58, I swear my jaw dropped to the floor. Like how did you do that!!!! I don't even know exactly what to say, I'm not good at long comments I'm just so captivated by this edit I had to let it out. I have a couple of Hannibal videos I haven't felt inspired enough to finish, but your edit just made me want to open Sony Vegas right now and not close it until they're done. Last time I couldn't make a full comment but now I will. First, I think this will be one of my favourite Hannibal video ever. English isn't my first language so it will be a strange comment perhaps 😅 Muse is my favourite band, and Hoodoo one of my favourite song. It's such a hard song to edit, and somehow you've managed to make it even more beautiful to me. The whole video capture the soul, the heart of this music. The aesthetic is wonderful (I love Tarentino) and your choice of scene is perfect. Gosh, everything is so beautiful, calm and sad. You are telling us a story, and you don't even need voice over. Just your editing style, your art. The parallels are wonderful, and the piano break really is my favourite part. I may be interpreting too hard, but the way you put it, with Hannibal playing, really showed he was playing a deadly song to Will. He dragged him into his world, made him listen his music, he played with him. And at the end he was the one played and broken too. (It sounded poetic in my head, but I guess that when I'm not speaking french, everything I say make no sens lmao) I guess that's it. I could tell so much more to it, like how I find this part (2:58) beautiful. But.. Really. Everything is beautiful in this vids, so I guess saying "Congrats, your vids is wonderful" should make it! ❤

wow, omg!!! i feel so honored to receive this comment. especially since, as you noted, muse is so important to you. it definitely was not an easy song to edit and i still have mixed feelings about the result (not sure that i was able to do it justice, or that it CAN be done justice). nevertheless, i am already hoping to make at least one more hannibal video with muse. it's always reassuring to hear that about my use of voice over, i always want to use a lot more but in the end often end up keeping it minimal. i try to let the lyrics and scene choices tell the story as best i can. my whole vision for this video really sort of revolved around that piano sequence so i'm so happy to hear that! and your interpretation makes complete sense, and was very insightful. thank you so much for this long comment, the fact that you returned to leave one really means a lot to me.

Ok so, first of all, the way you just set up this video is just????? i am speechless, you just captured that mood and vibe that you wanted for this so perfectly before the vocals of the song even came in???? The colouring of this is perfection and so different to what is the norm for Hannibal videos, like its so WARM, and just that alone made this feel so different and fresh That shot at 1:19 wow its just so beautiful and it just enhances the kind if ~aesthetic~ of this Holy shit when the piano kicks in wow HOLY CRAP??? The jarring and very DARK imagery just fits so PERFECTLY with the piano??? I can't believe this??? And then the rest of the video is so dark and so HARSH and just fits the mood of the song just wonderfully I am actually screwing my eyes up at some of the imagery it's just, I have no words. I love that there was essentially like three parts to this (like a movie and it's acts) with the introduction to each other and the soft warmth of that almost, then the harsh jarring parts of them and their relationship and then the soft 'breakup' at the end. I don't honestly know how you do it every single time but you make your videos so unique and fresh and have these amazing ideas every time that while your editing itself is not overly complicated (not taking into consideration the text and titles and the colouring itself), you always have a theme to them and a plan for them and I can see the way you've thought it all out and brought it to fruition every time. ohh my god, faayza. i was actually not having a very good day and then i read this and, instantly it became a highlight of my cruddy day. i have lots of thoughts about your thoughts so, here we go. first, your comment about the intro makes me so glad to hear. i was sort of going for that classic western stare down with the way will and hannibal gauge one another on his doorstep. and i was trying to capture that tone with the coloring as well, so i was really going for this warm, desaturated, desert feel almost. and i was really unsure about the coloring, partly because i think youtube's compression didn't treat it well. so i'm SO glad to hear you like it! really glad you enjoyed the piano bit! it was really what inspired this whole video for me, like i got the idea for that part first and then sort of built the rest of the narrative around it. YOUR COMMENT ABOUT THE ACTS. YES, YOU JUST GET IT. i really envisioned this video as a series of stages: hannibal's sensual sort of seduction over will, the reveal of hannibal's true nature, and the consequences of their relationship from thereon out, with an emphasis on the violence and the union of that violence. and then of course, will's retaliation at the end because i'm obsessed with depicting the brokenness of their relationship. THE LAST PART OF YOUR COMMENT IM???? For some reason, among all your marvelous Hannibal edits, this is the only one that leaves me feeling this twisted satisfaction of Hannibal being left unsatisfied, left wanting, in a way that feels... final. In Missing, I'm left with utter heartbreak and sadness, a little bit of bitter anger but also desperation and dreaded resignation. In Let me follow, Hannibal IS alone in the end, but there's a phone - he's waiting for a call. It's not finished, yet, there's hope that Will will let him follow. In Pull me from the dark, you show how inseperably intertwined they are. And as much as I love Hannibal in some aspects and as much as I want them to consummate their intimate connection and for Will to accept Hannibal (which he does in the series), I also want Hannibal to suffer immensely. Not even because of a sense of justice or whatever, that he's done so much 'evil' to so many people. No, it just feels incredibly personal. I want Will-... I want him to realize his 'potential' through Hannibal's love and make it come true; I want Will to accept Hannibal and his love, but I want him to grow through and over Hannibal, like a vine, I want him, having finished his becoming, to look at Hannibal, and have no love nor hate for him; I want him to be apathetic. The true opposite of love isn't hate, it's apathy. I want Will to come out on top and look down at Hannibal and pity his clinging to Will's companionship and understanding and pity his pathetic attempt at love and his self-righteousness and self-perceived superiority that are ultimately his undoing. And I want Hannibal to look into his uncaring eyes and realise Will's indifference and be powerless against it; I want him to realise that Will doesn't need him like Hannibal needs Will; I want him to realise that he shattered the trust and lost the only person in the entire universe who understood him unconditionally, the only person who would accept his love, the only one who he could've formed this deep connection with, that he lost him forever, irreversibly, that he's NEVER getting that back again and that he's lost him because of WHO HANNIBAL IS. Because: because of who he is, he felt it justified to do what he did to Will, so now he must realise that his own nature is his ultimate loss, his divine punishment. He would never regret his killing and his cruelty; he feels it is part of him and that it is justified. But he would suffer the consequences of his 'self-justified' actions done to the only person he ever REALLY cared about (besides Mischa) and live with the knowledge that as long as he lives, never will he be able to do anything about it and reverse his actions, no matter how many teacups he throws on the floor. I want Will to move on and discard Hannibal like Hannibal discarded other people, I want Hannibal to feel what that feels like, even though that wouldn't, and couldn't, change his nature. I want him bitter and regretful when he's on his deathbed. I know that this is pretty cruel of me, but I can only begin to imagine the mental and physical torment and cruelty Hannibal has inflicted upon Will. Alas, seems like Hannibal succeeded in at least one wicked thing: bringing out the dark and twisted delight at seeing someone we hate, suffering. This was a bit long, though I just wanted to point out how much I love that you manage to competently intertwine different themes with different concepts and bring out all these different and conflicting emotions in the viewers. We are blessed to have you in the fandom.

I've seen dozens of Hannibal MV edits, but nothing beats this one. This is, by far, the best Hannibal vid i've ever seen. The plot is delicately settled, the music is very stunning, there are lots of breathtaking scenes when the video and music aligned, especially the 1:58 part, my wig snatched, im sh00k, how can i recover from this lmao.
