First in my family to have a US passport, this was my first season snowboarding i love this shit man.. first time seeing snow this season and really leaving my city, being out there feels euphoric fr. I come from skateboarding too and never thought id fuck with the snow weather cause i wouldn’t be able to skate now im driving up every weekend for that feeling again.. been binge watching all episodes to gain more knowledge on this shit. love this episode g keep it up

This episode makes me love snowboarding even more. Thank you Brian and Omar for what you do and what you bring to these kids. You both are true legends!

Brian and Omar rule this is what it is all about. "there is so much more to snowboarding than just actually snowboarding" and "there's room for everyone here". This was an inspiring one to listen to and showed so clearly how our culture and community is strengthened by more voices from a wide range of backgrounds. Thank you BH, thank you H2W, thank you snowboarding 🔥

I'm a school psychologist (Ph.D.) and work in Salt Lake County. I'm a Brighton local and an avid snowboarder. These dudes are basically using snowboarding as a behavioral intervention 44:00, which is brilliant and sounds effective. Props to them. I've been on the lift with Russell and seen him at Brighton several times. Next time, I'll have to introduce myself and ask what he's doing with these kids; it sounds fantastic. I love these dude's perspective; they don't see things through a victim lens; they see things through a lens where snowboarding is restorative as their primary view. I've got some gear I can donate.

I got on a snowboard for the first time because of an invitation by Dr. Rob Gore and met Brian Paupaw on a bus trip from NYC to Vermont. It was a dark time in my life when I was battling depression, drinking heavily and chasing women to make myself feel better. Snowboarding has changed my life, and is now therapy for me. I am forever grateful for the introduction. Shout out to @siriema22 @hoodstowoods and @kavibrooklyn.

From St Louis, we have a hill about 30 min out from the city and it’s dirt cheap for after school tickets. Either way, places like Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit could really benefit from this. Great epy and shoutout HtW
