Rosa parks wasn't the first lady to go threw the bus incident, claudette colvin was. Rosa park was just fair skin, Cladudette was a dark skin pregnant teen, at the time she didn't "FIT THE IMAGE "

Interesting. I’ll have to research Claudette. Thanks for the info. Research shows that Rosa was a plant. That bus event was staged. Just remember, during the times of “civil rights” our people OWNED OUR OWN buses, taxis and everything else. We were doing fine. Either woman could have utilized one of those services. Integration is actually what got us further mistreated then financially stuck with and underneath folks who hate us. Now all their businesses thrive big time from our dollar and what do we now OWN? Don’t believe the hype y’all. Take care

That's why it's so important that we share the truth and learnings of black history with our children, to fill the gaps.

If you care about civil rights so damn much, then stop begging that you don't want that to be a comeback. And judge the content of people's characters, not the skin.

All good points on black history and how it's presented.... Does that change the current reality of the minority's lived experience? Why are universities and all media outlets refusing to cover the plight of poverty and minority on minority crime in our cities. NO ONE is addressing root causes .... what about liberal policies over decades and decades, sold to "solve" the problem, that may have contributed the problem. Does anyone think that Society's "social justice" may have subsidized minorities into a mindset of entitlement rather than a motivation to succeed? I'm not speaking for everyone but take and honest look at how our cities minority population has arrived at its current state. Is it the cops fault? Is it a white guy's fault? Is it the politician's fault? Is it the fault of lack of nuclear minority families? How about failing schools and lack of school choice? Let's start an honest discussion on root cause analysis and how to actually solve the problem once and for all instead of trying to create new "social justice" laws to solve the problem and deflect blame where it might not lie. I venture to say that more government is the NOT the answer to the problem and I hope people wake up to the fact that the answer probably lies within each of us to create change within ourselves.

So true. Black middle class communities have always existed (even the ones whites destroyed). We still exist but seems like we have to (and many should) keep silent where we live or the garbage will move in and before you know it, a rundown, violence torn ghetto! I don’t care for integration, nor do l care to be living around people selling or eating chicken feet! We need to return to segregated communities for some and gated communities for others.

DEFINITELY have no need for more government. We have enough new laws and all that jazz. All the things you’ve mentioned COULD be rectified and made better… if only “they” wanted to. Things are exactly as they planned it. And we continue to allow it by not knowing and not paying attention. Doing the same things that have never worked smh. Check out Dane Calloway. That will answer all your questions
