I actually never noticed this until someone pointed it out in the comments but… The song tells us about Alex not having any quests thus, not having anything to do, because of this he calls Joe, Alex tells Joe he needs a quest so Joe directs him to a secret place which has a box containing a Nintendo (Specifically a 3DS) So yeah,even though the quest is to find a console and not fight a dragon or something like that (which may be what Alex wanted to do), at least Alex has something to do now.
