You’re welcome. I think you’re really like it. This one keeps things hot long enough that you could cook rice in it or steel cut oats as well.

Thank you for the great review. My child's school food is not tasty, my son decided not to eat at school, but to take food from home. Today I'll go buy it. It seems to me that it is ideal for pilaf, soup, pasta and for stewed potatoes with meat.

Have you put whole food Maybe like rice And meat ?

Probably works better with "liquid" or paste foods that are at boiling temperature. My guess is either going to be too hot and moist and overcook the rice or will get gold. Should be good for mashed potatoes and beef stew. It's like leaving in a slow cooker for 6 hours

How do you get the lid off so easily? I just made soup, put it in and 20 minutes later I can not get the lid off. I hate this thing

This effect is present in almost all thermoses. Because the metal expands when heated. Pressure also has an effect. Read on the Internet the reasons why a thermos is difficult to open. I first pour hot things into the thermos and only after a while close it. I do not screw it on too tightly! If the lid still does not open, place the thermos in cold water so that the water covers the threads. And yes, avoid sweet foods and drinks.
