Hook (1991)

When his young children are abducted by his old nemesis, Capt. Hook (Dustin Hoffman), middle-aged lawyer Peter Banning (Robin Williams) returns to his magical origins as Peter Pan. Peter must revisit a foggy past in which he abandoned Neverland for family life, leaving Tinkerbell (Julia Roberts) and the Lost Boys to fend for themselves. Given their bitterness toward Peter for growing up -- and their allegiance to their new leader, Rufio -- the old gang may not be happy to see him.

Mo all your razzing of Max is now fully acceptable in light of his negative opinions of Hook! 😊 but seriously the reminder to men to not lose their childlike wonder and play is something many men still need today. We grow up and think we have to carry it all and get “serious” (great choice of lawyer as his grown-up profession) but having that childlike joy is so important. ❤

Nowhere near being Spielberg or Williams best movie and I think it could've cut out 20 minutes but still have fun with it and Dustin Hoffman is the real stand out.
