Hook Island WhitSundays

My friend Ro and I were off on an adventure to the Whitsundays.
We booked transport to the islands with Scampers, a small ferry/water taxi service. The service is very much dictated by the tides.
The first island we visited was Hook Island, where we camped at Crayfish Bay. We were well prepared with the right equipment and safety gear, like our Stinger Suits, Snorkel, Goggle and Fins set. We also had to bring all our food, water and camping gear. We spent 2 nights camped at Crayfish Bay.
We made sure to "Leave no Trace" and took all our rubbish with us, when Scampers returned to collect us for the next island hop.

Nice island. Loved the 4 legged wildlife. Sigi and I hope to get away again in October.

Ooh, I hope you guys do. We'll likely only be doing some short 3-4 day outings for a while. Till next year, when we go back up to QLD to visit our families and then maybe revisit the GBR... for some more snorkeling...
