Hook of Anchorage: Part Two

Hook has found a cow with calf and spends his time chasing off lesser bulls, showing the truer nature of a bull during rut. Otherwise he was a gentle giant.
This was him in 2017, his final set of antlers before he was hit by a car the following spring. He always had a very unusual and impressive set of antlers; they were that beautiful mahogany color, due, partially, to whatever he was raking them on.
Note: This was a few years ago, and using a big DSLR for video was tough so forgive the shake; stills inserted to better illustrate the event. The beauty of having two photographers working together; one on video, the other on stills. Enjoy! -and if you like, please subscribe!

He was an awesome and gentle bull for sure. He is missed by many. His death even made the Anchorage news, where they lose moose all the time to cars. Sad day for sure.

Thanks Kenny, no we don't intentionally shed hunt; we leave that up to the pros. (:>) like you I take it? Anyway, thanks for the comment. (We have a friend who actually was able to find all the sets of Hook's sheds from the last 3 years of his life; they are amAZING racks!!!)

We are doing a cruisetour at the end of Aug 2020. We will be Anchorage for 1-2 days. I am avid photographer enthusiast and interested in taking wildlife photos. Do you or can you recommend someone that that we can hire for a couple hours?
