As a composer and pianist, I greatly enjoy figuring out how to play my favorite pieces on piano. Some music translates better to piano than others and the resultant sheet music sometimes ends up functioning better as a study piece than a performance piece. Regardless, I always try to find the best balance between adhering to the exact notes that I hear in the original track and making small changes to improve a piece's suitability for piano.
