Introduction is 2 to 3 times longer than an abstract
It should not be more than 800 words
She adds that there are four different sections of Introduction categories as follows:
1) General overview of Scientific Literature
2) Address scientific ideas of the research & literature gaps
3) It should have a strong supporting statement
4) Result & Future Prospective of the research should be highlighted
She also explains the key differences between Abstract & Introduction
1) The Abstract is a clear and concise description of the study
2) It excludes references
3) A structured abstract has information on Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Introduction:
1) The Introduction is a detailed and well-sectioned information on the research topic
2) It includes references
3) No information on methods, results, or conclusions are needed
