Limiting your literature review to the last five years means you will miss the seminal works in a field and end up citing regurgitated interpretations of these seminal works, which can be very dangerous!

A lot of theses limit the literature to avoid repeating information that's already been studied. The goal is current and up to date information. This doesn't mean the older work isn't included as the newer articles should be building from those works if they're relevant enough.

I really like you and like what you are presenting that’s why I signed up for your course. HOWEVER, I was disappointed that I was interviewed by a guy who barely had a BA but kept telling me that “lit review is easy” bla bla bla! But what made me pull out of the course was the way he kept forcing me to make a payment in our “introductory free session”. He seemed to me as if he is selling a cheap Chinese watch to me, not realising how hard it is to be making a living and survive on very little as a PhD student Had it been yourself who interviewed me or had it been someone with a PhD I would have surely signed up but I can’t really sign up for a PhD with anemone who hasn’t even got an MA!

The journals can easily detect the AI content and your research will get rejected. There is a number of sites for detection the AI content.

Very helpful video.. i just finished writing 2 research papers but sadly I'm watching your video now.. but being a phd student in final year I've so much on me right now so this video is indeed a great help... Sir, I have a question. So I've been using ChatGPT as a study tool to understand concepts and terms for getting easy examples and all. But I also am aware that asking it to write entire text (for research paper and PhD thesis) is not good as the data may not be accurate and it will show 100% plagiarism as everything is copied from other sources. I recently tried something new. I first write entire paper and after that I asked ChatGPT to reread the text paragraph by paragraph and improve its grammar and sentence structure. Now one of the research paper i wrote was out of given word limit so i added one more condition to ChatGPT prompt asking to make it little bit shorter. This way because the writing results I'm getting from ChatGPT is totally based on the text I provided, it will not add anything from outside this way there will be no risk of getting wrong information or plagiarism... This i tried for the first time, should i continue to follow this method. As I'm not asking AI to write for me, I'm just using it to improve my writing. So should i continue following this method??? Again thankyou sir, this video is a big help.. im certainly going to use the methods and tools you suggested.

@hifive4600 no. I give a specific promot saying DO NOT ADD ANYTHING FURTHER AND KEEP THE RESPONSE LIMITED TO THE ORIGINAL TEXT I GAVE YOU. This way it keeps everything limited to the text I gave it. I did ask chatGPT about if it saves my data on its servers and what if after submitting my paper it shows my content as plagiarism or copied? But it replied that it doesn't keep our content on servers for longer period of time and it should be gone once we clear out chat history and memory of chatGPT. And it also said that the tools used by universities and journals to check plagiarism, goes through major journals and academic sites and chatGPT don't store or share data there so the content remains our own.. But I still have my doubts, that's why I commented on this video expecting a reply from the creator. And I've already submitted 2 research papers that I wrote using this very method so now I'm waiting to see what happens next.. if both the papers gets accepted and gets published then I think this method of using AI is not that bad... But hey... As we use AI I'm sure universities and journals are also going to update their software.. so let's see what happens..
