Well, I did purchase an Aquarobo through Amazon for US$576 delivered to Australia. When I received it, our Winter had just kicked in then I got Covid (mild version) but finally got to use it yesterday. Very impressed. No problems at all. I stayed underwater for around 30 minutes before I got too cold and had to get out. The battery only lost 10% charge in that time. So, it's a thumbs up from me.

Thanks, I've been using a tank in a child's blow up boat , works fine, but don't like going to get my tank filled just for that .

Great video. I appreciate you review on your equipment. Not a lot to see on KZbin on these out in the field. You are 100% correct about it not being all about what you find treasure wise. I do a lot of gold detecting but that is really just an excuse to get out in our beautiful outdoors & the adventures of getting there & back & taking in what nature puts on show for us throughout the 4 seasons. Also the like minded people you meet along the way. Gold of a different kind. Best of luck out there. John from New Zealand. :)

What a nice river to canoe down.. As long as you can breath under water and the unit works well.. 2 hrs is a long time to be under water.. Would love to do some lake dives to detect.. but I feel I am not in good enough shape for it..

great job reviewing the product and great videos too , I subscribed and one reason I did is because your so good at answering questions. I'm on the fence weather to buy this or an Air Buddy, and only reason is I might or might not want to go a little deeper that 10 feet maybe 20 or so . If you had it to do over would you buy same thing or maybe something a little more substantial? btw Ala is my original home down around Red Bay way, 64 and I still miss it!

Fun video,. I use the Nemo. I am dive certified to 60 feet but my NOX will only go 10ft so...I love being underwater! And you are right...it's all about the view/time in nature. Of course out in my water I'm just trying to stay alive. Sea Snakes, Blue Ringed Octopus, big sharks and lots of sculpin and lion fish.

Hello and thx for your great videos. Wonder if you like the blue or the aquarobi better. Cheers
@FindingAlabama Жыл бұрын
The blu is slightly better and you have interchangeable batteries. The aquarobo still doing a good job but eventually I will have to figure out how to Crack it open to replace the battery. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching 👍👍

Enjoyed your vid from Oz. I'm thinking of getting the knock off version for cleaning the hull of my boat. Haul out fees + anti fouling costs alot. I was wondering if the battery is replaceable as it will eventually die. Cheers. Steve

There is no way I can tell without breaking the seal to replace the battery. But when mine dies I will replace it and use sealer to replace the lid. Thank you for watching 👍

Lovely place; what's the fishing like thereabouts. I'd like to try a few good spinners and flys there first light, then fry 'em up shore-side and get them down me with a coffee, before heading off to work.

So is this the same as aquarobo 510 or the more powerful 519...? I hear you say after 9 feet it's harder to breathe..which concerns me since I was going to buy a 519 aquarobo...but if this is basically a 510 and not as powerful as the 519 alls good.thanks for sharing
@FindingAlabama Жыл бұрын
Yes 510. Thanks for watching

So I got one and I was down all most 30 feet would not recommend pushing it for a long time at that depth but I have ordered a nother one so I can have a dive buddy

SO the thing looks great, very interested in getting one myself. my concern was the thing tipping over in waves, or the lines coming disconected or any other unforseen isues. like that. you all are using it for a lot different application than i would. but curious if you had any issues at all with the thing? seems like it holds a charge well wich was my other big concern
@FindingAlabama3 жыл бұрын
So far it's been great. 5 trips some to the lake some to the river. Not sure how it performs in the ocean. Thx for watching
@FindingAlabama3 жыл бұрын
I don't think you will flip it in waves. We delt with a good deal of boat wake in one spot and it rode the waves well.

I just got the 619 version and it is awesome! Been out about 5 times in the gulf of Mexico. 3 hours each time. Super fun! I always make sure to call it quits around 30% battery life. Don't want to get caught 150 yards in the gulf with no air

Hello👍 It's worked well for me down to around 6 or 8 ft deep. The battery lasts a long time but cannot be gotten to for replacement without opening the unit and voiding warranty. It's a risk I took for a cheaper cost. I will say mine has held up 2 summers. But it's basically disposable battery wise.
@costinstoica72553 жыл бұрын
How much time underwater with this scuba system 2 hours ?
@FindingAlabama3 жыл бұрын
We never made it past 2 hours physically. Were all around 50 and in not best shape. But its lasted one hour 47 min straight and had 51% showing on the battery. Hope that helps. The one we bought has done well.
